hey codell, did you know that Neil Diamond is fueled creatively by his massive hatred of immigrants?

Anyways, I like Vanessa Carlton - that song "White Houses" is nice.

    also - Gordon Lightfoot.

    I win.

Haha... look at my post moe. Aqua sings that song... blew up the gaydar. :D

Informer wasn't a bad song. Snow had skeelz. No need to be embarrassed about that one. But yeah, Aqua... wow. Nobody named bigbodymoe should be listening to that stuff!

Oh, and I practically celebrate Ace of Base's entire collection.

Oh and the Wham! rap. You can't say Wham(!) without that exclamation mark cuz they're so damn good.

Everytime I hear the jingle of the production company at the end of Simpsons episodes (you know the one, where the person in the theatre goes "shhh"), I think of the hook from the chorus of that song. And I probably haven't heard that song in 15 years.

Backstreet Boys. (and some N'Sync, though not nearly to the same extent)

It's nice to be female, since it seems to make it socially cooler to listen to the openly-gay dance music (Pet Shop Boys, Erasure). I never felt like I had to hide those.

Oh, and I've sometimes wished I had some of those "Now That's What I Call Music" CD's, just to get a few of the good bubble-gum songs. I wouldn't ever be seen buying one, though.

Joni Mitchell - I told people at work how much I like her music and they tease me constantly. When I tell them how she influenced Led Zeppelin IV, they ask me how much crack I've been doing.

Ace of Base and Christina Aguilera.

I have this mashup of What a Girl Wants w/ Velvet Underground and The Communards and my girlfriend started laughing nonstop coz I knew the lyrics 2 the whole song. She still makes fun of me.

In my defense I only listen 2 Christina in Mashup form.
Ace of Base I take straight.

I also actually really like that Michelle Branch/Santana song that the NBA was pimping a couple of years ago, "The Game of Love".

I listen to that song all of the time...

I always make sure to put on some George Thorogood right after, though ;)

Ok, I'll admit this. I like some Kelly Clarkson songs. My brother actually bought me her cd for Christmas, although I have never listened to it all the way through. Just for the record though I would hit it. ;)

I've always had kind of an off-beat taste in music, so....

I hate American Idol hype, but I like Kelly Clarkson's latest song - and the way she looks in the video.

I used to really like Paula Abdul - and sometimes I'd like to listen to the music!

Hmmm, soft spot for girl bands: The Bangles, All Saints, Spice Girls, Jewel, Indigo Girls. I still like Pink, Avril Lavigne, and Gwen Stefani - I've been hooked on her voice since "Spiderweb".

Pet Shop Boys - Go West.

I think people will never think I'm cool for what I like in music, so I don't worry about it. I don't play my mix mp3 cds for them when they're in my car though.

Ditto, except I bought the CD for my fiancee'. What's funny is that me and my buddy were whistling that song when we were the checkout. :D

    Who? Mike Reno?

All of them had hits. I didn't go out and buy their collection though.

    How about some of this?
