Don't they always make these 12:01 Am on Thursday? All these crazy people lined up for days to see the first show, idiots .
Luckily, I got invited to a showing that a network gear vendor is sponsoring. IOW, I get to see it free!
No, it's Thursday, the 19th. Legally, no theater can show it BEFORE the 19th, so they do the first minute of that day, which will be Thursday morning in the wee hour. On the 20th, it's my birthday.
wow, those clone war epsiodes are soo cool its neat how it gives the backdrop, and even shows how Grevious gets his cough!!
Anyone else catch it. I missed some of it but I have season 1 on DVD and Season 2 on TIVO. I'll probably watch it again on Wednesday or Thursday before I see the the movie Friday.
I got a chance to watch the last 45 minutes of this cartoon. It was surprisingly good! I really enjoyed it. I hope they replay it again in it's entirety so I can catch it from the beginning. As mentioned earlier in the thread, they should now make a cartoon that would bridge the gap between 3 and 4. I think that's something we ALL want to see. See the rise of Vader.
I only saw the part with the strange bad guy who wanted to become a sith and then got thrown off a ledge. I was kinda rooting for him cause he wanted it real bad. I also saw where the jedi left palpa alone and they got him. I liked those parts.
is episode 25 the last one? They won't be making any more, and the Episode III movie will begin with Palpatine captured?
Yep However, they will be making new toons though. Lucas said the show will continue, but I doubt it can still be the Clone Wars. Who knows what the show will focus on, but it seems it will become a regular series now.
Phi- It was a female, albeit an ugly one. Dr.Ox- Ep III will start with Palpatine captured. I pretty well assume they will address that in the space crawl, at the beginnig of the movie. Something along the lines of: A long, long time ago,in a ... Supreme chancellor Palpatine has been captured by the droid commander General Greivous. The Jedi council have assigned Obi-Wan Kenobi and newly appointed Jedi Knight, Anakin Skywalker, to seek the safe return of the Republic's leader. Just a guess but most of the movies leave out things that happen between the end of one and the beginning of the next. Those things are usually covered in the crawl.
Makes sense. I'm REALLY glad I watched Clone Wars, then. They covered a lot of stuff that should pave the way for Ep III. I like Genndy Tartakovsky's productions, and though I was skeptical before I watched Clone Wars. But I must say that I've enjoyed the show a lot.
