Wow, how bad can your driving be to need body shops?? Are you getting into wrecks with other vehicles or just randomly running into things? :D

There is a place called Leo's on that little dinky road that runs parallel to Fondren...I think it's called Crossview maybe. Leo is incredibly honest and fair. Tell him I sent you and he'll shake your hand but it won't affect the price he is uniformly fair to everyone.

And for a car shop...Salah's. I want to share a couple story's about Salah's. I have been using the place since 1997 and it is simply the best car repair place on earth. The owner, Salah, is amazing. His right hand man, Elias, is equally remarkable. Over the year's there have been some occasion's that I have wondered if he was being fair, if he did some work at a fair price for a while to gain trust and then slowly built up his price, you know, normal car repair places. And everytime I have regretted my second thoughts.

I had a brake problem with...

wife got up I'll finish later.

    "inexpensive but good"

not that thats not out there, but with body and paint work, you pretty much get what you pay for ........your best hope is finding a body shop that is very small and doesn't do alot of insurance work that is hurting for business, but happens to have high quality body men and painters

Is this the same 4runner that had a a flat and you couldnt change the tire because of not having a tire iron and the same 4 runner that had the wippers ripped off by the crazy ex-boyfriend??

Edit- I see that it was the crazy boyfriend one..I wonder if 4runners are just bad luck..

I've had good work done at South Main Auto Body, on South Main between Hillcroft and Fondren. Fair price, good work, but it's not on the NW or West side.

Also Brock's on Jones Road is pretty good but pricey. Like codell said, you get what you pay for.

Houston Automotive on Weslyan and Richmond. Let the owner (Gene) know you're a Rockets fan and you're set.

Hmm, what year was that? If it was 1997, we've probably met. I was there just about every day when I worked for Enterprise. I was the ASSisstant MANager at the Steeplechase location.

So are you the one that brought donuts every Friday? =)

1/94 to 12/95 was when I worked there.

You probably remember Larry though (stocky with a beard)

We did it on Wednesdays when I was there. We actually took donuts to every body/repair shop within a 5 mile radius, which is a lot for that part of town.

Larry rings a bell, but I remember there was a girl that worked there. I'm not sure what her position was but she basically ran the place. Strange girl. One day, I'd walk in and she'd come up and hug me. The next day, I'd walk in and she'd just give me a dirty look. Can't remember her name.
