Isn't iraq an extention of the "Glonal War on Terror" of which the Canadians are our allies (since they do have troops in Afganistan). If it is, then according to your logic they have every right to critisize.

Actually, I am living in Canada now, after my study and work in Germany. One thing you are right, this forum is very special. Although I sometimes feel frustrated, and frustrated others myself as well, I still can observe or participate in some intellgent discussion. On top of that, I also learned a lot about basketball games, from some of the very knowledgable posters here.
I think what he's saying is that our education system sucks when compared to Canada's or South Africa's.

Sishir Chang: No, I’m not saying that but I guess I am saying that other countries tend to have more outward looking education systems. Americans tend to learn about their own country and not a lot about other places in the world, relatively speaking that is. When you are a smaller country more of your trade and other interactions are with other countries so it’s more important in some ways to know more about the rest of the world. In the US you can get to be president without ever leaving the country.
