yeah... also, Howard had that dirty foul when Ryan Bowen was trying to make that fast break layup. He intentionally extended his left leg and stepped on the back of Bowen's foot while he was about to jump. Kinda dangerous if you ask me.
i know this thread is old, the series is over, blah blah....but i just wanted to post this coz it seemed interesting that stack would hate barry
In a word, 99% of the comments in this thread are dead WRONG. A weak group of opinions indeed. Read Josh's bio ... http://www.jockbio.com/Bios/Howard/Howard_bio.html Josh is a great GREAT kid who has overcome a ton to excel. He's overcome all expectations to quickly rise to be the 2nd MVP on about the 4th/5th best team in the NBA. Be upset his grit and guile whooped ya ... but don't bad mouth his character. It belittles the truth. He's a warrior and Mav fans are very happy to have him. Very easy guy to root for in this age of prancing poseurs like Jon Barry and Antoine Walker. Shame on y'all for baggin' on this kid.
jho haters. the dude is a stud. my next door neighbor and i, back in the day in hunters glen missouri city, used to play driveway bball. he ended up playing starting pg awhile for wake forest along with jho and song (needless to say, the mofo always kicked my arse). i became a wake fan instantly. anyway, howard and darius songaila (kings) made wake go. i'm not at all suprised at the success of the two. just two eager and hard workers with veteran support. wouldn't mind having the dude on our team.
Yeah, I didn't read the bio, but I saw a news story up here in Dallas about when he donated a whole lot of stuff for the local underprevaliged kids, and when he spoke to the kids the dude just broke down full of tears because he said he knew how hard it was being a child growing up without much of nothing and he was so happy that he could do something to give kids a better chance than he had growing up.
I hate Josh Howard too........but there is not one person on these boards who put Rockets winning over anything else, that would not take him in a heart beat.
Regardless of what Josh has done in the past, he acts like a punk on the court. I'm glad he's a community oriented guy who has overcome a lot, but he acts like a jerk on the court and shall be treated as such when evaluating him in basketball terms.
I hate Dallas, and everything that has to do with Dallas. Cept for some family that lives there... And the Cowboy Cheerleaders... And Bill Parcells... And Keyshawn Johnson...
they look nothing alike. Come up with better responses about why u hate the guy other than looks. That could be taken the wrong way. Who knows how u look? BTW....I hate him because he is a taunting punk who think he's better than what he is. He is a role player at best.
