i would still take yao over amare. as good as amare is ALL his shots are created for him by nash. how many times during the game did you actually see amare having to create his own shots? Give yao a nash or kidd and his numbers would skyrocket. When Nash was out Amare wasnt too great.
Why is everyone in love with Amy Stoudimire??? Aside from all the valid points everyone has made, people forget to mention that practicaly everytime he goes up for a block he slaps it into the courtside seats. Hakeem never did this, he kept it in play so his temates could score. Yao does the same thing. I also ask Can Amy fall on his butt recover a loose ball and then throw a behind the back pass to a teamate for a score? The answer is a resounding HELL NO??? and you wanna know why? Too late for all the what ifs and why didn't we... But I sure wish that CD could find us a PF in the draft with the same kind of power game that Amare has....
We could have had amare and caron butler and maybe lamor odom for yao ming if he had done that trade with the clippers. We could have gotten MJ and Hakeem but we didn't so there is no point in the what ifs.
