KG is a low-impact defensive player. KG's block number is less than 2 per game. If KG is on the Rox team, the interior defense is even worse. Oh, offensive side, KG shoots jumpers. KG can grab rebounds though but he does not intimidate people from driving on him.
No just one moron is unhappy (einstein). The fact that Yao scored all those points when the rest of the team couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat is even more impressive. If the guards shot anywhere near what they did in the first six games of this series then the Mavs couldn't focus there defense on stopping Yao, and Yao would have done even better.
Anybody with a brain knows that Yao will never be as good as Hakeem. And I would take KG for Yao anyday. The rockets lost because they just don't have the team. T-mac is good but he can't carry the team on his back like Dream did. Yao is ok but the rockets need help either at the pg or pf otherwise we can see a repeat of this next year.
nope, i just dont post often and i dont like blowing sunshine up ppls asses. [/B][/QUOTE] Now that is funny! I gotta agree with you there, einstein. There's a lot of that on this board.
Einstein isn't saying anything that's new. A lot of people in Houston don't really like the way Yao plays. He's 7'6" but plays passive. He could unstoppable if he had something of a mean streak in him. It's frustrating because he can be so much better, and it's all mental. Don't blast this guy, because trust me, a lot of other people are thinking the same thing.
"einstein" is only a japanese p1g. we don't think it is asian. and yao belong to the whole world . god bless us.
Put it this way: do you want to see a Rocket center (anyone you could get after trading yao) matchup against Yao in the next 10 years? It'll be a headache if not nightmare everytime, because you know it would be a huge mismatch. Do you think Dallas was comfortable seeing their "Second best Center" play against Yao in this series? You will most likely be regreting to death for trading Yao away.
Apparently this guy is a lonely guy and wants the whole world attention to him and therefore to creat this BS F**** topic.
By the way, as a Rox and Yao fan, I feel very sad when I see this thread (especially the thread title). Some of the posters here are really cold blooded.
geez did you even watch the games? yao dominated inside. when you move further away from the basket with yao then his scoring is more inconsistent. yao has amazing touch around the basket if you didn't notice. why would you want to take away easy shots from him? if you put yao 2 feet from the basket then he is gonna be making a hell of a lot more shots than from 15 feet. how did yao struggle inside in this series? please explain to me how shooting 66% is struggling? did you even see how many times yao dunked in this series? man its like you are arguing stuff with no real basis in reality. those guys you mentioned use the jump shot because they have to. NO ONE CAN STOP YAO CLOSE TO THE BASKET. dream's turn around was not unstoppable because of his height. it was unstoppable because of his quickness and because of how many fakes and jukes he could throw at his opponent to make them look stupid. please just make an actual argument and base it with something realistic.
Frankly, Yao does need to improve. But he's improving, so I think we can expect that... Still, yall YOF need to stop being so vicious on anyone that critques Yao. It's not only psychotic and demonstrates massive insecutity, it makes you look worse then the person you're attacking. Geez, if you don't like what someone says, then disagree, don't turn into a monster.
wow you really sound like a child resorting to the name calling and then saying the god bless us. pretty immature. oh well with stuff like that then this thread is done soon.
Very good post einstein. It shows that you are a fan of the Rockets and not loyal to one player. I want the best out of YM like everyone else but it is obvious he cost us a couple of games this series. Tmac finally got tired of setting him up and watching him drop the ball and encouraged him to pull his head out of his butt and make some easy plays. Before you continue to blast einstein realize something, the mavs were using josh howard on YM. that is unacceptable for a 7-5 center. YM should have taken that personally and abused him but he didn't. Saying that YM is second behind Shaq ain't saying much considering who comes after him. Lets not accept inconsistency from YM or anyone else.
