    WEST

San Antonio v. Seattle --San Antonio in 7. I'll say that Seattle gets hot enough to push this series to the end.

Phoenix v. Dallas --Phoenix in 6. I'm hoping Amare will destroy Dirk. I hate Amare too but you gotta pick the lesser of two evils.

    EAST

Detroit v. Indiana --Detroit in 5. One Miller heroic game and the Pacers goes out faster than Hammer Pants

Miami v. Washington -- Miami in 6. I think Shaq will need to be their workhorse even more so.

Unless the Mavs sneak a win in game 1 because the Suns are rusty, I pick the Suns in 5. The Suns should learn from what the Rockets did to Dirk. Shawn Marion is a pretty good defender. The Suns will have fresher legs and will run the Mavs into the ground.

Spurs in 6 over the Sonics. The only way the Sonics win the series is if Allen, Rashard, Vladimir & Jerome James bring their "A" games. IMO, because of matchups, the Sonics have the best chance of anyone left in the West to take out the Spurs. Don't count them out.

Heat in 5 (maybe 4) over the Wiz. The only way the Wiz win a game is if the Heat don't show up (figuratively) one game.

Pistons in 5 (maybe 4) over the Pacers. The talent gap is just too wide. O'Neal, Jackson, Tinsley (if healthy) & Miller give the Pacers a punchers chance but Detroit is just too good.

It's guaranteed to be Heat vs. Pistons in the ECFs. The West is very competitive.

After the Mavs beat us, I can't believe they aren't getting more respect.

Mavs over Phoenix in 6. SA over Seattle in 6.

Seattle and their shooters give the Spurs fits.
