We started out the season 6-11. Most of us (and definitely me) wanted the coach fired earlier on. We were one of the worst teams in the league.

But this is only the beginning. Yao and Tmac have played a grand total of 89 games together. Yao and Tmac both have atleast another 10 solid seasons left in their careers.

The Mavericks are the new Utah Jazz with all those freakin floppers and we exposed their sissy ass b**** of a superstar for the punk he is. I will be happy knowing that Nowitsuck will never be able to lead a team to a championship.

Tonight sucked. No doubt. But I am still proud of this team. We all know with a few proper calls how this series would have turned out. But its time to forget about all of that.

Once this team gets a true point guard and a banger we are going to be serious contenders for a long long time!

So forget about being sad and angry. I am still proud of this team, which is more then I could say the last five years or so.

    I love you Rockets!!!

It will be this off season signing and next season to judge whether this is a good season. You cant compare with the previous years, always look ahead.

It is still a successful season. It'll be interesting to see what moves the Rockets make in the offseason. A little more depth and athleticism and the Rockets should be unstoppable.

This season was no more successful than last season ... Don't kid yourself ... it's all about results

Last year lost in first round
This year lost in first round

Same level of success ... Might have a brighter future, but there is no way this was more successful than last season

Exactly. I cant wait to get a few players in the mold of James Posey, Josh Howard, etc.

Barry, Wesley, Sura, Padgett, and Bowen gave us all they could. But we really do need some younger and more athletic players.

When this season started, did anyone really think we'd win the championship? I didn't. I think this team did an admirable job. And this season was more successful than the last one... mainly because we have more to build on. How many of you were won over by Francis at this time last year? How many were won over by McGrady this go around? Results matter, but considering where we started, and knowing where this team is heading, I am a lot more confident about the future than I was last year at this time...

First you have to get rid of the deadweight (Baker, Braggs, Ward and Moochie). Then you go draft a quality player in the 1st round, go after Stromile, and pick up some quality FA backups.

Yao showed he's not a playoff choker.

    21 pts on 65% shooting.

Tmac + Yao = Rockets Dynastry.

I would kill anyone who questions Yao's max extension!!!

The goal at the begining of this season was to pass the 1st round of playoff. At the beginning of playoff was to take WC title. Doesnt matter how many wins we had in regular season, all it matters is how far we went in the playoff and what's our future like from this year. We obviously failed the 1st creiteria, 2nd cretireia remans to be seen.

Kinda agree with you if you look at the organization as a whole. But if you look at the players, this is a totally different bunch.

Would have they gone farther with Cat and Francis?

This is your first year with Tmac and Yao. They really need an enforcer type of player at the two. Get to work Mr. Dawson!

What bothered me though is TMac. After tonight, no doubt, he is not your Game 7 type of player. Man.. I remember when the Rockets were facing elimination when they had Hakeem. He just stepped up big time even if they would lose. Sh*t I miss that guy.

I have a much better feeling than after last year's playoffs. Rockets just need a few role players and they are set for title contender.

I'm proud of the Rockets too. Stretching the first round to 7 games against a loaded Mavs team is great considering its Yao and T-Mac's first year together. I really like the pick and roll plays they run and each is dominant at his position.

All the easy layups by the Mavs really shows that we need help at the four position. Yao felt comfortable with Cato at 4 because he was there to rebound and block shots and helped him avoid foul trouble. Losing Howard didn't make things better. But I really love the team we've got, just need a good 4...

Are you kidding me? I know it wasn't his best shooting night but he had 27, 7 and 7. This loss isn't on his shoulders and it isn't on Yao's. The roleplayers just didn't get the job done tonight, and that being the case, McGrady had to take some bad shots.

Sorry man... you don't lose game 7 by 40.

I know we can't compare TMac to Hakeem but there is something in a warrior that comes out in this type of game. We all saw it in Hakeem but just did not see it in TMac.

I think T-Mac is all right, he had a bad first quarter but sort of gathered himself afterwards. There's only so much he could do.
