I am dejected as we all are. but still proud of overall of this team. Now I'm rooting for Seattle. Reasons why: 1. I hate the Mavericks 2. I hate the Spurs 3. Ray Allen is only cool player left in the West that's not a A-hole. 4. Rashard is from Houston.
Ya know, I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY hated the 90's Sonics, mostly because they always seemed to have the Rockets number. I mean the whole cast of them all irked me (there was nothing worse than Detlef arguing a foul)...But this is a different bunch of Sonics, and Ray Allen is a good guy - So for that reason, I hope they win too...
God, it just sucks to be talking this way after the past couple of weeks. Anybody else feel like crying?
The only reason I want the Spurs to beat the Sonics is the Spurs should beat the Mavs/Suns winner hands down. The Sonics could beat the Mavs but they had trouble with the Suns this year because their defense isn't that good.
The Sonics won't even get close to beating the Spurs. The Nuggets had a better chance, they stole a game in San Antonio and they're the better team. Spurs in a sweep.
Yep, Indy's my choice of the remaining teams because of Reggie. But I really think Detroit is going to repeat.
I was really hoping that the Celtics would knock off the Pacers so I wouldn't have to watch one more series of "Miller time" but whatever, the Pistons will knock them out.
Well, as tough as it sounds after this intense series, I will be rooting for Dallas now. I don't like Josh Howard, but the rest of that team are actually pretty good guys, and I am a big Dirk fan (still).
I'm rooting for Detroit. The Rockets are the only team in the West I will root for and I'm just not ready for Shaq to get another ring quite yet.
I'm done with the NBA until next year...time to hang out and enjoy the summer, especially since the Astros suck.... DD
Wizards. What the hell. They are the underdog. When you think about it, they have some series NCAA talent on their team, all from prime time programs, so they've been here and done that. Gonna be interesting to see how they react to the Heat of the playoffs.
