even though we are out of it this year guys lets look at the bright side of things. we have two stars who are entering their prime to build around. thats the hard part is to find talent like that. now we must find parts to fit around them. before this series started 100 percent of me wanted us to win this series. however, i always found one very very small part of me thinking that if the rockets dont move on to the second round, management would be even more aggressive and work harder at getting the right pieces this summer because there would be a lesser sense of satisfaction. nobody come at me with talk that im not a true fan please im a die hard fan but i do think logically

Totally agree. And if we were to listen to the media the Mavs would have SWEPT us anyway. IF they win, they would have survived this series by the skin of their teeth. So the Rox definitely do not have to hold their heads down if they're going on vacation after tonight.

    JB 0-3 0 DArmstrong 3-3 6
    Sura 0-2 0 Stackhouse 2-8 5

Only 5 rox have scored....all the mavs are scored...that's why we are in the hole we are in

Credit to the Mavs for shooting the lights out tonight..

    BUT..

This really was one of the worst chopjobs by the refs in the playoffs in YEARS.

We've been slighted somewhat in games this series when it mattered, but this was outright murder under the basket by the Mavericks and the officials.

Maybe we wouldnt have won, maybe we would have.. but we never had a chance playing against a Mavericks team with 8 men on the court.

The only emotion I feel more than anger is pride in this team, they didn't take crap from anybody tonight or in this series.

Dallas is a dying franchise, we haven't even scratched the surface of our potential.

    GO ROCKETS

Does anyone find it a bit ironic that TNT has scheduled some movie called "the Long Kiss" for this time slot?

Sura had a good season, and a lousy series. Lay off of him.

    choujie,

With Deke on the floor you are goin gto get some stops. With Yao you are not going to get those same stops. Yao witll score 10 to 17, but give up 18 to 30.

How are we building around Yao? We got godo spot up shooters who can hit the open 3 and perhaps play Defense, isn't this what you want for any team? Especially one with a history of good post up play? Even if Yao is not the answer, why would we not go after a big man who might be? We're not building around yao, we're build according to our system which dictates taht we need a big man to be successful, if not yao, then someone else.

Sura is a energy spark off the bench. James fits better in that role for us. I say we dont need him next year.

Nope, rikesh is right. The Rockets need a better Point guard.

I agree ... I wish the fans that want to blame T-Mac or Yao for the loss tonight would be gone forever ... Don't need em.

I'm tempted to blame Yao for the poor rebounding and free layups for the Mavs tonight, but then I have to remember that Yao has to stop the penetration, guard his man, and somehow get position for a rebound all at the same time because we have nothing even close to resembling a real PF. We've got to get a PF in here that can rebound and defend ... I could care less about points.

I love the Rockets, and all... but reality check time.

The Rockets are one of the oldest teams in the league. It is hard to say that Dallas is a "dying franchise." They are younger, and have a nice young backcourt.

Will, no disrespect, I know you are Clutch Crew and all, but I am very disappointed you are coming down on Yao like this:(

How much can two men do against SEVEN Mavs?

Sorry, but THAT is what it takes to make it in the West right now: a roster FULL of very good players

BTW, I'm ashamed of some of you guys. Sure we're down by a hecka lot of points, but seriously, don't ever get on anyone again for being a bangwagon or YOF or whatever. if you're gonna carry that attitudethat its over already anytime theres a large defecit staring at you in the face, you have 0 right to compalin about YOFs or people who leave the TC 3 minutes before end of game.

Yao cant pass the ball to himself. It's up to his teammates to play around him when Tmac is not going . We are not in that mode right now. Live or Die with Tmac, which I am fine with this season.

Great point. JVG blew it with his substitutions tonight. He stayed with Padgett and Sura WAYYYYY to long in the 1st quarter and didn't play Deke nearly enough. Yao was just too slow and soft to keep the Mavs away from the basket tonight.

Why not shoot a three every time up the court, why not? Make history, have fun, go out bombing from downtown. :)
