Why has JVG gone away fromm his game plan???

In the games that were won. Deke was in the game making a difference.

I'm not understanding his game plan. Avery has adjusted and counter punched JVG.

Has Stern really got him that scarred???

Look, I know emotions are hot in here. But I've been straining hard for 3 years and 12 playoff games to see this guy emerge as a team anchor. A few good minutes -- largely created for him by McGrady -- in a Game 7 blowout do not show me a second anchor for this team. They show me a guy who can occasionally produce points. So can Jon Barry, Mike James, et al.

The man is 7'5" and a good shooter. There are a lot of things he can do out there. But he's not a team anchor until he stops having "a good quarter" or "a good game" and becomes reliably dominant.

I agree. It's so frigging important in an elimination game down by 20. We need to get our heads clear. THIS IS TMAC'S TEAM. How dare some of u say Yao and TMac in the same breathe. You are not the resident Yao crank, you are the only one has clear mind who sees through the truth. If we don't get this fact clear, we will never win a game. Remember those 50 and even 60 points game from TMac last year? Most of them were losing courses. If Yao and Tmac (I apologize to put them together again) got their points, let's say around 60 or even 70, very possible in this game, with the role players performace (sorry that I didn't count Yao in), they will still lose. Mind you, great basketball mind, with a single Super star, you are not going to win in this league. See KG, AI, and last year's TMac.

But hey, who are we kidding. It's TMac's game, Yao is just another role player. This role player is so important, coz he will always be the lame duck if we lose. For everything else, there is TMac. Let's not get confused. In the Dream's time, all the plays Dream finished were started from him. He picked up the inbound pass at the end, dribbled through traffic, and magically posted up, and finished strong with a dunk.

I really hope once we are clear of the team's identity, the team can pick it up from here.

That only happend in game 6, when Yao was just terrible. Rest of the games in this series, Deke did nothing better than Yao.

    This is physically sickening.

I feel like I'm helplessly watching Yao and Tracy get jumped in some dark alley by the entire Mavs roster.

Van Gundy looks like a fool with this Yao on Armstrong crap. Are you kidding us?? That is the only way that guy can score. Freaking bizarre.

I think the whole series just took too much out of T-MAC for him to do anything tonight

Yeah, all we need is a final score...all I want is for the Rox to finish strong and have pride closing this game out.

No point guard! All the players who man the PG position are SG's.

    Yup, this game is sealed...

Now, who wants to talk about the offseason? JK;)

Anyways, it is been a great season, I just CAN'T be down on these guys knowing how hard they played all year long. To have such a short-term memory and an attitude of "What have you done for me lately?" differentiates the true, loyal fan from the bandwagoner. Not after I saw and watched every game this season and saw the ups and downs.

We are losing to a better team, and we gave them one heck of a run for their money. this game we are just coming up short, and Dallas is straight up dominating in EVERY aspect of the game. They are just playing UP to their potential for the first time this series, IMO.

BTW, Mike James has just been eejcted
