Normally I weould say OJ was acquitted and Chmura was acquitted, let them move on with their lives, but I think they were both guilty. At first I thought OJ was innocent, but with all the arrogant and sick stuff he has done (pretending he is stabbing Barbara Walters (using a banana like a knife) helped change my mind about that). As for Chmura, there is NO reason to be at a slumber party with young girls. People are asking why was she in there with him, obviously she has issues that her family has to talk to her about, but the bottomline is that Chmura should have NEVER been in there! How again was he victimized? It is very likely that with this acquittal, all he will get is a straight shot back to a locker room in the NFL full of guys who think the girl deserved it. She will have to face friends, family and strangers who think she is a manipulative b!tch who probably deserved to be raped. Now, how again does it work that a grown man can have sex with an underaged drunk girl, admit it and somehow be seen as the victim? Am I missing something? So let's see here, Chmura will be back to the life of the party. No friends, family members, or strangers will think he's a manipulative dirty old man. Nobody will make fun of his kids, his wife, or himself. No news network will ever say, Chmura who just signed with the so and so's was once charged with sexual assault. C'monnnnnn.... This dude is goin to get hammered forever. He's already gettin hammered on these boards by perfect strangers who could care less about him. What will people who actually know him say? How much business will this man lose because of this? How many people will disassociate themselves from him because of this? This guy is forever goin to be known as the dirty old hypocrite. He deserves this because why? If I'm not mistaken he did not admit to having sex with a minor. I imagine if he had admitted to having sex he would have been convicted of statutory rape. I don't know what happened there but I still see no point in allowing the media to destroy the lives of people who are eventually found innocent. People who did not commit crimes that are dragged through the press are in fact victims. Their lives can be taken away from them by the media just as if someone came up and literally stole their family, friends, business, home, and self-respect. Well, this topic hit home very recently. My brother in-law hit my sister when she confronted him about closing all their bank accounts and taking $12,000. During this fight (she came home early from a business trip to find the chicken-**** trying to leave without telling her), and he started telling her what a horrible person, wife, and mother she was. When she reminded him that he said the same things to his mother 10 days before she killed herself, he punched her. She called the cops, but they didn't arrest him because the evidence didn't show up until the next morning. Unfortunately, she's reluctant now to press charges after the tragedy in Katy. Trust me sirhangover, I'm only 2 hours away, and it took my girlfriend and my parents to keep me away.
