With Yao benched. It's more effective for yao to start later.
We should shut down Mavs offense first, then start our offense. :)
If we let them to start offense, then it's not easy to cool them down. Yao couldn't help to shut down their offense at the beginning and Deke can. Maybe you will worry about team offense, we have TMAC. :)

    Start Mutombo

Yao is just too inconsistent right now. And he looks burned out.; could not jump at all.

How about we start James? He's so good. With sura benched, it's more effective for James to get into the offense rhythm. Then, when he's tired or cooled down a bit, let Sura in and bring his toughness to the court.;)

Rox needs a fresh Deke to play the 4th Q, so u don't start Deke, but play him major minutes in the 4th Q. The way it is, it will be a close game in the 4th Q in game 7.

    Starting lineup for Game 7:

    C: Vin Baker
    PF: Torraye Braggs
    SF: Clarence Weatherspoon
    SG: Ryan Bowen
    PG: Moochie norris

That way TMac, Yao, James, Mutombo, Barry, Wesley and Sura will all be fresh off the becnh, plus we have the height advantage with that lineup.

I think JVG did a good job of adjusting..in the last few games when we had a lead and put Yao back in there we gave up some inside baskets that cost us a lot. This time when we had the lead he decided that we should go defense and let the other guys score and it worked perfectly.

JVG made a lot of nice adjustments during the game....Stackhouse was burning Wesley with the turn arounds so he brings in Bowen to cover Dirk and moves T-Mac to Stackhouse and it really disrupted him.

I really believe JVG made a lot of good adjustments in this game as it went out and the fact that we made shots down the stretch really helped us big time.

Let's see if which Yao comes to play, then play Deke accordingly.

Lol...not a bad point tho. If yao had been in the fourth I know for sure we would not have blown them out.

Still Mutombo is more effective as a sub. he's not really an offensive threat like Yao

Why I start this topic is that I observed that in this series we only have good dense in 1qtr of 1gm. For the other games, our 1qtr is so bad that we have to do a lot lately. I think it's about yao's slow warm up. I know it will be risky if he still can't warm up from bench. While it's worthy a try since we can defense with Deke.

I agree it's the worst playoff game for Yao,
he wasn't immersed into the game, kinda worried
too much about officiating (it was fair offiating tonight,
so that maybe why he was not used to it :D )
and worried about not playing well himself.

But look at the bright side, his performance can never
get worse than this game, with more play-off experience
he will be more consistent. So let's just leave this game
    behind and look forward.

Is that ALL because of DEKE's play we won this game?

Are we so LUCKY to fouled 2 mavs out in minutes?

    Are we another MAGIC?

    Think about it.
