    I mentioned it in another thread which promptly went to the bottom and was buried...

    Back when I was at UT and the refs made a bad call, the entire marching band would yell "hup" every time that ref would take a step.... after that he was more concerned with trying to shuffle and stutter step to trick the band than he was with calling the game. This was at football games, so it would be much more effective at a closed basketball arena if you could get 10 or so people doing it.
