The music selection is not chosen by only the game operations manager, there are other people that contribute.

There's 18,000 people in TC who I'm sure have 18,000 musical opinions. Your 40-55 year old fan can relate to classic rock, while I might be able to relate more to Rap. There's some people in there that might prefer the top-40 pop. It seems like it would be pretty important to keep a balanaced mix to keep everyone into the game at all times. I have noticed there's been less of the classic organ and bugle calls and mroe of the guitar rifts and rap beats.

If T-Mac is lisening to what is on the loudspeaker and playing his game accordingly, then maybe we have bigger problems than the music. Players won't play better to certain songs, they'll play better to screaming fans. So, no matter what song is on there - sing along, dance and cheer LOUD and make the place ROCK.

    Go Rox.

The only thing that would perk up the fans in the Toyota Center stands is.....

.....a wonderfully suggestive cheerleader routine from an all-star lineup of HISD Junior High School cheerleaders!!!!

    ;)

This, my friends, is an example of how having limited information can lead to erroenous conclusions.

I couldn't agree more, after going to dallas and houston , its obvious why are fans cant get into the game, we have terrible promotions at the worse times, the person who started the thread said everything i wanted to say, glad someone else noticed it. Also, the halftime show for game 4 was the worse thing i have ever heard in my life

My 7 year old son even found the fat guys r****ded. That is bar none the worst way I can imagine to promote basketball. It's also HORRIBLE for Toyota to affilliate their rather nice trucks with a pack of losers. I didn't want a Sequoia after going there and I definitely wouldn't touch their fat bubba truck. Put some hot chicks in there and I might think about it.

Also, isn't rather - gay - NTTAWWT - to have these scantily clad fat dudes picking GUYS from the audience to sit in the Toyota box seats. Who stands up for that?

The music isn't chosen by the fans either. The NBA has a list of APPROVED songs that can be played. Each Game Ops Manager has to submit the playlist for each arena to get approval. I've seen the approved list myself.

Well, I am not going tonight....gave my tickets away. Maybe they will win!!! Game 3 & 4 was felt like I was getting my tooth pulled out. So, I am not going to the game, that will at least save some of my complaints!!! Watch at home with friends, wife, pizza, and beer. Lets get loud....oh, and I will be answering the r****ded chant at home "who's ball is it?" what a joke!!!
