Thats what I was thinking too. It seems both T-mac and Yao said they love the fact that he is sticking up for them and I hope that inspires them to a win today and on saturday.

I wonder what edc has planned for Jeff Van Gundy day?

 

Funny thing is that while most pundits seem to think this whole JVG thing is a distraction, I personally think this is going to pull the team together and make them more focused.

I would love to hear the JVG chant on TNT!

 

I dunno, bank robbery? Airplane hijacking? Terrorist attack? Tomb theft?

 

Rich corporate Rocket's fans... get off our asses!

 

Maybe a overdose, hanging, or leap off a tall building?

That would be awesome if we could get the chant going... but I fear that Houston fans aren't coordinated enough to be able to get the clapping down after the jeff-van-gun-dy part ("clap-clap.... clap-clap-clap").

Just watching some of the people try to do the four-clap at MMP for "Deepn in the heart of texas" is enough comic relief to last you a lifetime... there are even some people who look so focused trying to get the clap on-time, and they still screw it up.

Perhaps T-Grey will need to "help" the crowd... like he tries to do w/ everything else.

 

I'm sure just as the chant starts the awesome pa announce will start jabbering about something else and drown out the crowd.

 

I usually get the Stros fans in my section to get off their asses and do "let's go Astros CLAP CLAP CLAPCLAP ClAP!" pretty well... so it CAN be done. We just need some fans to start it all, and it will slowly work it's way around. If it doesn't work at first keep doing it... and tell the bastards in the Chanel sweaters to let some peeps in the upper bowl have their seats. I also get great feedback when I yell at the crowd "Hey Houston fans get off your cans!" Eventually they'll give in just so you shutup

 

Hey! We need some of you guys with endless supplies of copy paper to print up flyers to give out before the game outside... mention Clutch Fans and our support of JVG and then a low down on the cheer/chant? lol..................
