I did a 157, and the breakdown of my scores were pretty much where I would expect. I read that only 1% of the population has above 150...but about 90 people THIS WEEK scored above 160? Uhh...cheaters? I got 159 Pattern: 100 Arith: 88 Logic: 88 Spat: 63 Proc: 96 Spatial is no surprise..I am horrid at that - my wife always kills me in games like pente, othello, etc. I simply cannot "see" certain relationships 3 dimensionally..odd It was basic, though...I hated timed things...they make me blur through everything. SAT I had about 15-30 minutes left for each section, same for the GRE - not that I am a genius...just whiz through tests. ------------------ Big A, little a bouncing B, The System might have got you, but it won't get me.

These Internet IQ tests are always much, much easier than the real thing. Typically, they have a scam going, like IQTest.com. IQTest.com's scam is pretty funny; you take their hilariously easy test, score in the genius range, and then for the LOW LOW LOW price of $9.95, they'll send you a detailed report of what your unofficial unsanctioned IQ test proves about your genius. Yeah , I took the IQtest.com Test , They Emailed me back and Told Me a Got a 128 which is in the 125-135 Group considerer Borderline Genius . $10 Bucks for a Complete Breakdown of your intelligence is stupid to me . Will, I've emailed Mr. Kinsley with your results. I am sure you'll be pink-slipped this afternoon. The problem with these IQ tests is that they take into consideration how much time you SAY it took you to finish. If you tell the page that it took you 10 minutes to do the test and you score 160, you can go back and change 10 minutes to 2 minutes and increase your score. Frankly, I don't think anyone I've seen post on this BBS has an IQ higher than 150. Likewise if we survey on SAT scores and two thirds of the respondants say they scored 1500 or better, I'd call bull****. ------------------ "Corpses are icky." --Chris Robinson
I didn't take this "internet iq test," but Brian my IQ is a legit 140 and I did score high on my SAT's (not 1500 though). I don't know though, I don't see most of our posters lying about this, but I guess I'm naive. Can you really change the time it took you to do the test ? Or is it simply taking the test again ?
