Thought this was funny. From ESPN Insider's Who's Hot and Who's Not section on summer leagues:

Hedo Turkoglu, Sacramento Kings Turkoglu's stats are outstanding but he has been unwilling or unable to do what the Kings coaching staff wanted him to do --- run the team. Turkoglu says off-season surgery on his nose is affecting his aggressiveness, but Kings coaches feel its an excuse. He's out of shape and unfocused at times. Still, given the fact that he's averaging almost 30 ppg, it gives you a rough idea of this guy's talent level. Monday night's 2 point, 1-8 performance only reinforced the Kings' frustration.

Never thought I'd see the day when a nose job was an excuse for not playing good basketball. [IMG]

I seriously wish Bryant Reeves would get something to cure that mange that has plagued the back of his head for years.

Never heard of the band that Bobfinn* posted, but yes, Ranger11, I am (really was) a huge San Jac Ravens fan. When I was in HS, I went to every home game with my dad and stepbrother.

Now I live in Dallas, and can no longer attend games, but I try to keep up with the team as much as I can.

I was not around during Sam Cassell's years there, but I did see every single Francis home game, and watched all of Omar Sneed's (who played on the Rockets Cali League team) games there. I was really hoping he would have a good showing and get picked up by someone. Also, I had heard that Calvin Bowman had really done well in some pre-draft camps, and I wanted him to get drafted in the 2nd round, but it didn't happen.

I still have Steve's autograph from his only season with the Ravens. It is my most cherished collectible.

Francis is a pimp! Turkoglu, Ostertag and all these other "jacked up grill" fools don't get ESPN the Mag covers with Destiny's Child. [IMG]
