Damn if he could just stay on the floor for 35 mins in these next two games then i have no doubt the Rockets would advance to round two. Common refs...let them play.
No one said he is better than TMac, but I bet you didn't watch many games between Supersonics and Kings this playoff, in which James apparently dominated the paint on both end.
i only watched game one. Im just saying how messed up these rankings are in which they rank a player higher than someone else who is performing much better.
Rick Adelman decided to concentrate on Rashard Lewis and as a result, James got himself open a LOT during the series against the Kings.
When he is scoring more than 2 points on each shot taken, of course he is gonna have a great efficiency ranking.
Shaq hasn't been playing that well for Miami. I'm sure he's attracting defensive attention, but Wade carried that series for them.
Jerome James had a great series vs the Kings. And even if you were correct (you're not) that makes the margin of error 4%. You were expecting perfection from an NBA stat?

Shaq is shooting below .480, rebounding below 9 per game, blocking less than 1 shot per game, while having 3 TO per game (not to mention his FT%). Not a good playoff series for him.
Shaq is just resting up for the big stage(3rd round +). Hes team made it easy, and wade just owned the nets.. Shaq didnt play big mins vs the nets anyway. Alonzo played alot of minutes and did quite well. Shaq is just coming of an injury btw.
Shaq is the player in the league that coasts by far the most through the season. He really never plays when he doesn't have to. Shaq, at this stage of his career, saves it up for when the team needs it. It is a luxury I guess they could afford against the crappy Nets. That's the part of his game that Kobe was often livid about, he didn't like Shaq's laziness during the season/off-season. Next they will play either the Wizards/Bulls. It is such an advantage playing in the East, they will basically coast for the first two series, and then have tons of energy saved for the final two rounds. Meanwhile you play in the West, you don't even have enough energy left after the first round (look at Rockets/Dallas series)
