Someone should organize a SoCal Clutch hook up.

Got back from the Florida Keys a couple of weeks ago. Spent a week fishing (caught 15 flounder and 26 Red fish.

Going to spend two weeks on Martha's Vineyard in September for the Martha's Vineyard Striped Bass and Bluefish tourney.

Probably take another week and paint my house too this summer.

They have an awesome pizza place there next to Brookshire Bros. (my uncle lives in Plantersville, that's how I know).

As for me, I promised a friend of mine I'd take her to Barrow (farthest north town on the continent) some weekend over the summer. A friend of mine is coming up for the fourth of July so we will be having fun over that three day weekend. Taking another weekend trip over to Prince William Sound to do some sightseeing.

And I have two cousins coming up this month for about 10 days, one from Houston and one from Phoenix. Should be fun.

Not sure. Even when I can get off work, sometimes other people can't. I'll come up with something... I'm going to Connecticut in June for work reasons, at least. There should be more than that, though.

I am so sick of sitting next to fat people on the plane. If you're overweight, fine, but if you're so overweight that you flow over into my seat...and worse, if we can't even get the armrest down because you can't fit, you should ABSOLUTELY be forced to buy two seats. And if you don't buy two seats, you should be bumped off the plane until there is room for you.

I can't stand that crap. I really miss having airline status and getting the upgrades all the time.

Can I have your "Running with scissors" if you don't come back? I mean, within the ROX championship and then... Or maybe your post count? I need 9k more. :D

EDIT: seriously, though, International Drive has many cheap shops where you can buy everyone a shot glass for about 20 cents each and they can get drunk later thinking of you. Matter of fact... they also say they have the largest McDonald's on that road and Sand Lake (?) or is it Turtle Lake? Ah, whatever... I have taken my family twice.

I hope you're not talking about Pizza Inn....I don't like that place.

My mom's uncle(my great uncle) is/was(I'm not sure) the mayor/police chief/fire chief/everything else of Plantersville. T.C. Hirsch is the name. He also owns the Hirsch Family Restaurant right off of 1774.

hawaii with my family (parents and sister) for about 10 days in late july. we went a few years ago with an aunt and uncle for a cousins wedding and i played one of the better rounds of golf i've ever played. also went about 12 years ago and my parents went by themselves about 5 years before that. my mom loves hawaii.

one reason i sort of don't want to go is the damn plane ride. i hate flying. actually, i hate taking off and landing. once you're up in the air, even the turbulence generally doesn't worry me that much. but taking off and landing scare the crap out of me and i basically hold my breath the entire time we're descending until we touch down safely on the runway.

and somehow a video of 100's of people dying in plane crashes doesn't seem that funny.

Depending on if I get this paid internship I want, and depending on if I can actually get some vacation time in, I might try to leave the country for the first time ever. Either that, or I'll go somewhere in the US I haven't been yet.

Once I'm done failing all of my finals by next Wednesday, I'm going to get piss drunk that night. Oh, and be at the Astros game.

Then I go home for 3 days, then fly up to BWI, take the Amtrak up to Penn Station (yeah, the allure of Southwest is so great that I'm willing to fly into another city and take a train). Six weeks in NYC, staying at NYU (taking one class: Intro to Galleries and Museums of NYC. :D Actually it should be interesting). Gotta head up to Cooperstown one of those weekends to look at a summer program there for next year. Hell, maybe even Canada for one weekend too.

Then DC for a few days, maybe Ft. Lauderdale for July 4th, and then about a month and a half of endless enjoyment in Bama taking classes.

And then back to Miami. Darn, I have to come back to South Florida once the summer ends.

    :D

That's what we are planning to do the end of July. Islamorada. Also hope to get some lobstering in too.

Last time we hooked up about 40+ maui-maui on 1 trip - unfortunately we had to clean all those fish too. The next day we took back about a dozen keeper lobsters.

    Really looking forward to it.

I split a beach house on Fire Island with a bunch of other couples, so every other weekend I will be there with the wife and dog.

Also I am going to my buddy's wedding in Hungary, and we will take some time exploring Eastern Europe. This will be my first time to fly to Poland.

I plan on making it back to Houston for an Astros game, too.

It's not over the summer, but I will be in Baltimore/Washington DC area the weekend of December 2-3 and at the Texans/Ravens game on Sunday December 4.

My cousin is going to be doing that for the first time this year. He showed me the website for the house and it looked very cool.

We just bought another house this year so no big vacation plans this summer. I will probably spend a number of weekends and maybe a full week on Assateague Island in Maryland. We'll be camping in a pop up camper and surfing as much as possible.

Assateague is a barrier island very similar to Padre Island. It's actually really beautiful and there's a herd of wild horses on the island.

I just returned from a Grand Princess Cruise in the Western Carribean last week and it was awesome. The wife has already discussed taking another cruise in October.
