    In this series, Cato wouldn't have made a difference. There's no way he could have guarded Dirk. His impact wouldn't be anymore than what Deke is giving us.

    Just simply having Howard would have made a huge difference.

    you liked the crucial FT misses? he was set up beautifully and finished at the basket, but he didn't come through in the clutch.

    I'd have to say I liked the game 2 performance best, as it was an intergral part of a rocket win.

    Overall, his improvement this year vs last year is great, and I think his improvement over the last 2 months is very promising.

    Call me crazy, it would have been sweep, if we had Mo.Tay on Dirk. Mo.Tay was quick enough to font Dirk effectively, and Mo.Tay will make you pay if you leave space to him.

    You apparently missed my point. I am talking more about positioning than who has more hops.

    Different positions, different tasks, apples and oranges that can't be compared. EX: Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain can't be compared. You have to compare back court player to back court player, and front court player vs. front court player.

    Capisce?

    Did you watch MoTay play Dirk and KG? Mad fronting. It was really effective. Of course, I am fully aware that put Mo.Tay in this situation where he is open 15 foot out, it's like openning candy jar ...

    Rebounds=Rings.
    Yao's lack of rebounds is going to hold him back.
    But he has improved in alot of areas from last year. Hes able to score against some tough d. Its good to finally see. But i rather see 10+ rebounds. Dont blame the refs either. Scapegoats are in fashion, but i dont buy it..

    3rd year in the league...putting up a couple 30+ games..... Its obvious he doesn't have everything down... but you gotta feel good about his chances. last year i knew something was missing playerwise. this year, i know that yao and tmac are the pair.

    On a related note, maybe that last 4th quarter last game was the breakthrough Yao needed. Maybe he will dominate and help us get to the second round. We shall see.
