how would you guys feel? I personally would be very proud of this team. They have showed a lot of heart and courage in taking the MArvericks all the way to the end. I will be proud of Yao Ming who has shown that when on the floor is the intimidator and force that we knew he could be when we drafted him. Only the refs could stop him in this series. What can you say about T-Mac. He is our everything. Not only has he been the prolific scorer that we knew he was but he has also been the leader and passer/rebounder. I am still in awe of him sometimes. With a more athletic PF and defensive minded point guard we will tear up the league for years to come. Face it, this was our series that the refs has taken away from us. They had a deeper bench with superior atheletes yet we have been tearing them a new one with our smarts and heart. Even when we trail, we find a way to claw our way back into the game. I know we can still win this series but if the refs and NBA chooses to rob us in this series then I tip my hat to the rockets for giving their 110% and not giving up till the end. GO ROCKETS!!!! KICK THE MAVS ARSE!!!!!!
We started off the season with a 6-11 Record. We won 50 games for the first time in a long time. We lost our starting PF the last month of the season and had to try to guard Dirk Nowitski with Ryan Bowen and Scott Padgett. If we lose this series I will still think this season was a great success considering all we overcame. But we aren't going to lose
A great team indeed ... The scary part is that we have not seen the best of TMac and Yao playing together yet ...
Best believe I think the rockets will win this series. But reading this board, there are people b****in about how we suck and t-mac sucks, I just wanted to find out how many people are as proud of this team as I am through whatever happens .
I dont care if we lose in the next round....we have to beat this team. And I mean bad. I have never had so much hatred for a team in my life. Even LA, i just accepted they were better than us and they got it by playing well. But this is rediculous. The Rockets need to win the next game by a 20 point blowout. No chance for missed calls.
No, shame on this team if they finally lose 4 games in a row in round 1 playoff. This team right now is so disappointing to watch. Where is the Defense in last 2 games? players have not been working hard. Shame on them!
We wont lose. But I must say I'm damn proud of this team, especially Yao for showing frustration and ANGER in a game. I want him to b**** slap a ref sometime in the future.
I will feel extremely disappointed if this team does not advance to round two mainly because I wanted Yao and T-Mac to experience a little bit of winning in the playoffs. However, I also realize that this is just the beginning and hopefully with another PF and a healthy Juwan Howard next season this current team can still make a nice run next season.
Screw that. First off is game 6 tomorrow back at home. We win that one. Then comes game 7. Anything can happen in game 7. But let's not worry about that right now. Game 6 tomorrow @ home. Giddy up. Time to show the home crowd what this team is REALLY made of.
This series has been so close that I cannot recall there was one like this for years past. We are down right now, but we have our ways to beat Dallas and so does Dallas. If we execute well game 6, we will win, because we know we can beat them. Home court advantange in this series has been proven irrelevant. They can play game7 at Cuban's backyard, these two teams are still evenly matched. These two days rest is huge for banged up Rox player, esp Tmac and Sura.
