you should have seen how these guys acted when the g35 first came out. they acted like they were doing you a favor just by letting you look at the car. other brands arent different either. it was the same when the IS300 came out and also when the new TL came out.
Yeah i remember both times once when the New Accord coupe came out in like 98 i belive and the Acura CL type S came out.. I went to go look at them and the sales guy was like how interested are you in buying the car...cuase if your really not going to buy the car were not going to give you a quote cause they cars are too hot and they are not going to negotiate or anything.. Both times i was like screw you don't even waste my time...
Geez, drapg, I thought you already had your car. You still getting the G35 coupe, right? If you are, I can't believe you are worried about putting 300 miles on the car and "stressing the engine right out of the gate", LOL. Stressing the engine, my friend, is doing 75 in the city whilst in 3rd gear! Believe me, those cars are made to be driven on highways and interstates.
Hey I talked to Southwest Infiniti and their willing to sell the G35c at $850 over invoice. I'm still trying to talk them down to $500-$600. Whichever dealership you go to, ask them if they'll sell them cheaper if we both purchase at the same time.
I used to live on FreshAlloy.com when I was looking for a new car and when I owned a Maxima. It's a great site and yes, Danny does try to give good deals. I think he was doing VPP pricing in the past - I don't know if he still is.

I'm very slow and methodical when it comes to big purchases. Hell it took me an entire year's worth of research before I bought my HDTV. Plus, I'm buying my first home at the same time as this car purchase, so I'm stretched for time in my research and visits to dealers.
Hey Drapg, check out the new TL. Im swaying between the TL and G35 now. TL has a nicer interior, navi + auto @ $33k, 4 doors and exterior looks are about even imo.
