Kenny was being dogged by Kerr all night so his brain was MIA.

A reporter from Sina said some gambling companies bet big money on Mav's win even they lost first home games.

I don't think you can blame the Rockets for missing their free throws. The refs got them out of sync, not only from this game, but the whole series. You could clearly see that the Rockets were less motivated in this one, like they knew they were going to lose.

Yes, you CAN blame the Rockets for missing their free throws. There are no excuses for that, so don't make any.

But, I would love to hear the justification behind those calls. I can't wait to see how this all folds out.

Even if that is true, there's nothing that can be done at this stage, it's the past. Now all we have is game 6.

I guess from what I observed, I have to conclude that Barry did not "know" that there was no way he could have been blindsided, otherwise he would have yelled and screamed about it to the official. But he didn't notice at all that Finley came from out of bounds. Instead, he complained weakly that either he got fouled by Finley or that he didn't foul Stackhouse (couldnt' tell which).

If he would have known that he was safe from the blindside, protected by the baseline, then he would have known immediately to complain that Fin came from out of bounds. But he had no idea what hit him. None of the Rox did, except for JVG.

    And that sucked.

I mean it is not only this game did that we get bad reffered. It is the whole freaking series. If you look back the last 4 games, even the first 2 game we won, Mavs made more free throws than that we even attempted.

    In game 3, Yao's 2 and 1 weren't called, then Mavs had a 20:0 run, a big momentum change.
In game 4, whenver we got Yao going, Yao was then getting called offensive fouls that disrupted our momentum.

Screw the friggin' refs. Screw the friggin' Mavs.

I can take comfort in that IF the Mav-Nots do go on, they won't get far. That team was built to be playoff fodder for the rest of Dork No-D-viztki's prime years. Only they don't know it, either that or their usual denial of the facts.

For all our own miscues and the refs' fine job of bending us over, we were still in it. Our worst enemy were ourselves, the Mavs were ripe for another slap in the face.

It's just too bad that the Mavs really think they have a chance at a championship this year, poor wusses will find out again and again that they were built to be just kicked out of the playoffs year after year, as long as they build the team around Dork.

    Ah, that felt better.

I'm not even gonna talk about the officiating in this series. All I wanna say is I love the Rockets dearly and it hurts when I see them lose. I wish they can win every single game but that's near impossible. I'm gonna stand by the Rockets with a jersey on and support my team til the end. If we can advance to the next round that'll be great, but if we can't I'm still gonna love the Rockets. No matter what the result of this series is, I have seen enough to feel optimistic about the team's future. We've got a great duo in T-Mac and Yao, and they have proven they can be dominant against a very tough Dallas team. From the start of this series I have always worried about our depth. If you think about it, in a long 7 game series, the younger team will have the edge physically. Whether we exit the playoffs in the first round or win it all I'm already excited about the upcoming off season. The notion of adding a solid defensive minded rebounding power foward that can hit the open 15' jumpers is exciting. In addition, adding some youth to this team can only benefit us in the long run.

I'm gonna be extremely busy with work and finals coming up so most likely I won't be able to catch the games live. Boy, am I glad to know someone like R2K. :) Thank you!

I love you, Rockets. Better luck in game 6 and 7.

It boggles the mind that on the day that the league hands down a record fine for complaining about the officiating, that the game would feature so many horrid calls against the team that was fined.

I wonder what was going through Stern's mind as he watched his refs blow call after call against the team coached by the guy he just levied a record fine against, and threatened to investigate.

I am so very angry right now. I find it pathetic that an owner would b**** to the league about the officiating with regards to one player. I find it disgusting that the player was Yao Ming. Yao picks up stupid fouls, but a lot of the fouls he picks up are phantom fouls. And he doesn't get half the calls he should on the offensive end when no-talent hacks like Erick Dampier mug him on every offensive possession - then get praised for their great defense!

I found Mark Cuban mildly annoying before this series, and mavs fans a source of "at them, not with them" amusement, and I really didn't have any feelings towards the team as a whole. Now, I want them to burn.

I want to see that franchise reduced to shambles. I want Cuban to get suspended for life for being such a pathetic jackass. I want Dirk to retire and wander the earth Ricky Williams-style. I want Erick Dampier banned for somekind of illicit drug use. I want the American Airlines center to burn to ashes, and then I want to salt the ****ing earth where it stood. I want to see Mavericks fans in tears. I want that franchise to be laid so low that it will never rise again. **** the Mavs.

    Amen Pued. Amen.

I already hated the Mavs (almost as much as I hate the Lakers), but now. I believe they have taken the #1 spot on my all time hate list.

I am pissed off at the NBA. I don't think I will spend 1 penny ever again on the NBA market.

I have never posted on this site before now but just had to vent.......I am sick and disgusted by what I saw tonite......there is no way the officials could make that many horrible calls in a 2-3 min. timespan......"by mistake".
I have contacted NBA and hope that everyone on this site will do the same......we need to have our voices heard......plus it will make you feel better if you let the NBA know what you think of their "professionals". I am sure I won't get any sleep tonite.....just unbelievable.....out of bounds play, phantom fouls, ........the refs definitely manipulated the end of the game in Dallas' favor. There is no way Stern can defend what happened tonite.
