Why the hell did NBA fine JVG? Unless there's some conspiracy that they want to shut him up. David stern is sending a message to anyone dare to reveal some dirty little secrets the league have. Maybe there's some internal memo that says all refs must treat Yao like dirt, let him get raped, and do whatever they can to keep Yao out of the game. At the same time, screw the Rockets too. Then when JVG says something, they got all nervous and slap a huge fine on JVG to shut him up.
i hate that mother ****** so bad, david stern is the epitome of arrogance. his a$$ must get fired somehow, because threatening a lifetime ban is more egregious than considering a conspiracy on yao. that is a threat that should not be tolerated under any circumstance. if jvg suggested that he was going to eliminate stern permanently from the nba, he would have been fined more than $100k. stern must either be fined that amount or fired.

I got this idea, What if Yao just said enough is enough "I am not returning back to play in the NBA next year and the Chinese government stop all deals with the NBA. How much monies would the NBA be losing out. Just a cray idea because I am so angry with the BS Houston is being served by the league.
That would obviously not help the Rockets. What would help would be if the Chinese government forbade the Dallas Mavericks from ever scouting in China and prohibiting Dallas from drafting any Chinese players in the future. With a dearth of NBA big men and the rumors of several 7' and over Chinese teenagers, that would be a huge blow to the Mavericks if enforced.
I too, will step away from the NBA market if JVG is banned. Just the idea of it is ludacris. Stern is a smuck. The refs ****ed us again tonight. What's new.

How much did those players on the Pacers get fined? That was a violent offense. Van Gundy gets fined $100,000 (a sh*t-load for a coach). Someone earlier pointed out Johnson's $10,000 for going after a ref ... what is this madness. I saw the Aldridge/ Stern interview, and I wanted to jump throught the tv and strangle the guy. What a smugg b*stard on a power-trip. The NBA has the worst officiating of all the three major sports, and has for a very long time. I am so angry. I don't remember him threatening a lifetime ban, but if he said anything remotely like that, he's unfit to be the NBA Commissioner.
THE NBA IS RIGGED. Fouls are there to keep the spread and over/unders working. Dallas = -4.5 (Game 5) Anybody track this stuff? I used to bet like crazy and the margins/predictions are way too close. It's business guys, just like the WWF...the Refs control the game and you have to beat the opposing team, the refs, and the media.

You know what would be awesome... Clutch could open up a separate tipjar so we can all make contributions to pay off the Van Gundy fine...if 10,000 members donate 5 dollars each that would be $50,000 or half his fine combined with Yao paying half Van Gundy wouldnt have to pay a single cent!! Imagine how this would go down in the national media...Rockets fans would be nationally viewed as the best fans in the history of basketball! And we would probably get the biased officiating to swing our way as well.
Uh, I don't have that much dough to throw around dude. The league should retract the fine, in my opinion. How about we just barrage them with a petition and video clips highlighting the foot out of bounds and emails, etc etc. I like that idea better. Well 5 dollars isnt a whole lot, but I guess its hard to chip into a fund that doesn't affect your life directly haha. Anyways, after watching this horrendous officiating disaster combined with the fact that officials have absolutely no respect for Yao I think its important that we as fans do anything we can to correct the situation.
