I drink about 7-9 Dr Peppers a day... and yes, the caffiene is addictive..I tryed goin for a day without it..man oh man..what a nightmare.. It almost felt like the last time I tryed to quit smoking. ------------------ Lar

Drinking too much Mountain Dew will not make you sterile. I saw a cola representative address this rumor on television and it has no basis in fact. I had never heard the rumor before and used to drink a lot of Dew. They could have been biased, though. If you drink too much Dew, you will be something worse than sterile....a diabetic. Way too much sugar to overload on. I found I was addicted to my daily carb fix of Mountain Dew at 1 - 2 liters a day. I knew it was terrible for you with no nutritional value whatsoever. So, I quit and when I drink colas now...they are diet colas like diet sunkist orange and diet dr. pepper. The human body wasn't made to process those high amounts of sugar. I drink coke alot when I'm sick to dissolve the phlegm (greenish icky junk) from my throat. It does pretty good ! Try this. But Frank is right...cutting your drinking habit or altogether is best. ------------------ Sometimes you gotta do the next best thing!

Man, I remember when I used to be addicted to caffeine. A normal day would be 3-4 cups of coffee in the morning, 3 cans of Mountain Dew during the day, and about 54 ounces of instant iced tea when I got home. When I was forced to give it up due to high blood pressure I thought the giving up caffeine would kill me before the high blood pressure. Now I don't drink any products with caffeine and still operate off of about 4 hours of sleep a day.
