I think the correct answer to the Wolf, Fox and Duck is this

1st trip: Man, Duck, Wolf(or fox)
    Return trip : Man, Duck
    2nd trip: Man, Duck, Fox

mission accomplished and he didn't have to get wet!

If you draw a straight line through the equal sign that means not equal.

Yeah somebody got it on page 1 I think.

The lady was a travel agent who booked John Smith's wife's plane tickets. Smith's wife booked a two way ticket for her and only a 1 way ticket for her husband, so the lady realized she planned to murder him.

Guys who knows programming should love this:

The warden meets with 23 new prisoners when they arrive. He tells them, "You may meet today and plan a strategy. But after today, you will be in isolated cells and will have no communication with one another.

"In the prison is a switch room, which contains two light switches labeled A and B, each of which can be in either the 'on' or the 'off' position. I am not telling you their present positions. The switches are not connected to anything.

"After today, from time to time whenever I feel so inclined, I will select one prisoner at random and escort him to the switch room. This prisoner will select one of the two switches and reverse its position. He must move one, but only one of the switches. He can't move both but he can't move none either. Then he'll be led back to his cell.

"No one else will enter the switch room until I lead the next prisoner there, and he'll be instructed to do the same thing. I'm going to choose prisoners at random. I may choose the same guy three times in a row, or I may jump around and come back.

"But, given enough time, everyone will eventually visit the switch room as many times as everyone else. At any time anyone of you may declare to me, 'We have all visited the switch room.' and be 100% sure.

"If it is true, then you will all be set free. If it is false, and somebody has not yet visited the switch room, you will be fed to the alligators."

What is the strategy they come up with so that they can be free?

well...the easy answer is that each of them scribes a mark beside the switch their first time in. If there are 23 marks on the wall, then they've all been in once :D

    three guys pay 30.
    Innkeeper gives 5 to bellhop.
Bellhop gives each man a dollar.
    So each guy paid 9.
    9*3 is 27.

"9 times three is $27. The $2 the bellhop keeps equals $29.

What happenes to the extra dollar?"

There is no extra dollar. The $2 the bellhop keeps equals $25 paid for the room as it is $27-$2. The $3 dollars the guys got back equals $30. Adding 2 dollars to 27 is incorrect logic because the bellhop kept 2 dollars out of the 27.

This was already answered and you got it wrong. You can't leave any of the animals alone and you forgot that you have a weak rope at your disposal.

This one is crazy, the only thing I can come up with is...hmm, nothing. I thought I had it, but the prisoners don't know the switches starting positions. I guess I'm not good enough for this stuff, but they're fun to read.

The John Smith answer doesn't even seem fair to me. That is just way out of the box.

Below are five images, no two of which are exactly identical. Your task is to select the image which is "most unique."

    The answer to Fatty's riddle-

It's a math error in the order of operations. The tenants get back 3 dollars, so they think they collectively pay 28 dollars (25+3). The bellhop keeps 2 dollars. That makes thirty. The men payed 28/3 or $9.33 each, not 9 dollars.

By mentioning 27/3=9, the riddle tries to make you think in reverse (30-3)/3 + 2 instead of working in the original order (25+3)/3 +2.

    or
    All are correct.

It appears that image 5 is the only image that does not have any deviations from the average picture. So it is the most unique by being the most average.

I may be being particularly obtuse today but I don't understand this one. The solution is that they are all boys? I don't get it...

If they are all boys, then half of them have to be boys...

Yeah... half are boys... and the other half are boys... all of them are boys.
