I see the Mavs doing it over and over.

I see Yao, instead of swatting the ball, he goes for the charge, and gets into foul trouble. He still hasn't learned his mistake and I think it will be a few years before he figures it out. But that's another topic that has been beaten around.

I see T-Mac penetrating. Anyone else going to do it for us?

Other than MJ I don't see anyone that can. Sura had been but his back and knee look to be slowing him down.
the rest of the team are basiclly jump shooters...

Yao should have backed away in those situations. I saw Shaq did that many times to avoid fouls and being posterized. But JVG may not like it, as a defensive minded coach, he likes to have every shots by opposition been chalenged. But Yao and JVG have to know better, Yao's mere presence on the court will bring far more benefits than the two points scored by our opponnents.

Yao needs to make a decision: either challenge shots or back away. He gets in foul trouble when he tries to take charges, because he gets there too late, or is in the restricted area. When he aggressively goes after shot blocks, hes a decent shot blocker, but too often he is a passive defender.

The Rockets just don't have a lot of off-the-dribble guys. TMac is obviously our best penetrater. After him, Mike James is decent, but he gets out of control at times. If TMac isn't drawing guys and kicking it out, we have to go into Yao, and then swing the ball. Once the ball is swung, we need to hit the jumpshots. In game 3, we lost when we stopped hitting from the outside.
