Earl Boykins grabbed an offensive rebound then lay it in for two points...

Bob Horry is being himself in the playoffs again. Back to back clutch 3 pointers in the fourth. WTF doesn't this guy play like this all season?

Nuggets currently squandering a terrible effort by Duncan in game 3. Duncan currently has 9 points on 4 for 16 shooting, yet the Spurs are up 7 in the 4th quarter with 5 minutes left.

Carmelo had a decent 3rd, but otherwise has been completely neutralized by Bruce Bowen, which I find a bit surprising considering Melo has a post game that he should be able to use against a smaller guy like Bowen.

i was just about to say, does carmelo ever get to go to the free throw line. the guy has been attacking quite a bit and cannot buy a free throw yet ginobili throws himself in there any old way and is guaranteed a trip to the line. it's amazing. but they finally let melo go to the line.

for the people who say we shouldn't b**** about the tmac out of bounds play today, look at what they just did in this game. the ball was clearly, undeniably out on parker, but they gave it to san antonio by acting like "well we could've called a foul but we'll just give it to SA." that is why it was such complete BS. and it was a clean strip by camby. instead, SA gets the ball and goes up 5 on a duncan shot instead of DEN having a chance to tie. that ball out on tmac goes to the rockets 95 times out of a 100, but since we're playing the mavs this was one of the 5.

I'm only gonna ask this once because I really don't ever want to think about this game ever again in my life.

Was the officiating INCREDIBLY biased towards SA?

I fully accept that I might be being a homer here. I HATE people that blame refs, and even with that we should have won, but that was awful IMO. I just want to know if you guys thought it was too.

it did seem to be fairly clear in the 4th that the spurs were supposed to win this game. they were in the penalty in about 2 minutes.

Its funny how people blame the refs for everything. As a matter of fact Denver Shot two more FT than the SPurs they only made 57%. Actually it was four more before the THUGS went after Manu. I hope buckner, Melo, and Martin all get suspended they purposely tried to hurt Manu. Just because a guy is lighting your team up and you can stop doesnt give you the right to purposely hurt him. Just think how many times Tmac might have been intentionally hurt. Denver play way to emotional and that is why when they lose they lose big.

That is exactly what I thought. T-Mac was the last person who touched ball when it was out of bound, but you have to use slow motion to figure it out. When was the last time the home team didn't even have an opportunity to take the last shot? Look at how Spurs and Mavs got all the critical calls! Its truly disgusting.

Manu and Horry were KEY in this game.

Did anyone see the shot for shot highlight in between timeouts they put together of all of Manu's shots!?!?!? I don't think there was one "normal" shot, they were all off balance, under the basket, turn around jumpers....Dude is a FREAK!

Horry was just his old man badass self!

    Offence is making baskets.
Refs can't make the baskets for the Spurs nor could Denver make their own baskets. So the refs missed how many FTs for Denver down the stretch!? Oh oops, sorry that was Melo.:D
I just hate that myopic view that refs are blowing games for teams.

BTW, Tim looked pretty awful didnt he!? I think at one point we counted 6 missed shots in a row! He obviously needs the stroke back and soon!

Just wanted to re-iterate that because I'm getting ripped pretty hard for stuff I didn't say. And I'd just like to point out that after every Rockets game there's at least one thread about the officiating. Considering this is the first time I've ever questioned it here, I think I should get a little leway.

Didn't look that bias. I'd say this worse bad call was the flop Martin pulled off to give Duncan his third foul at the beginning of the second quarter. Duncan had just hit a couple of shots and was getting going when Martin pulled that one off. Duncan had stayed in and gotten in rythm and it could well have been a blowout. Taht pety much took Duncan out of the game for the night. Props to Martin for pulling it off but no props to the ref who was shielded by Martin, just saw him falling backward without any angle to see if there was any contact and just reacted to the flop.

Nuggets' gameplan looked to be to get the Spurs bigs in foul trouble. That first drive Camby moved his arm on the shot to make sure it hit Duncan's rather than just go for the made basket.

There is a huge difference. For us rockets, we have the exception to all rules in Yao Ming. Any person who isn't blind can tell he get reffed differently. :(
