Man we must suck if we managed to throw it away after being up that much.

Sorry, just trying to cheer myself up.

    Keep thinking that.

Meanwhile, I think I'm gonna be sick. We had this game late in the 4th ... lost it on unlucky breaks. We play like this and we win 4 out 5 games in my mind (minus the BS offensive fouls on Yao).

This game was much better on our part than Game 3 ... we did start to fold in the 4th but overcame and stayed in it. Barry and James passed up some good shots and took some bad ones, and that hurt us badly in the 4th.

    This is still our series.

Better talent translates into wins over a 7-game series, that is what the 7-game series is made for.

I can't blame our guys because they have played with PURE heart, and based on how talented Dallas is, I am surprised we are even tied in this series.

Bottomline, This is an incomplete team that is MILES away from the required talent (yes, talent) needed in the league RIGHT NOW to win it all, and beat loaded rosters like Dallas'.

That's just how it is, like it or not.

Again, Les is going to have to show me something this off-season. Either get some freakin' talent on our roster to match up with the likes of Dallas, Suns, Spurs, Detroit, and others, or sell the FU****G team to a rich oilman who can do what Cuban is doing:mad:

Sura was a defensive disaster in this game. Terry was making him his b****. Then he made James his b****.

He's not playing that well. After the injury he returned to his true scrub form.

Once again, we played not to lose rather than playing to win. I dont' know why we continued to settle for jumpers when we should have been taking it to the hole in the last few minutes. Damnit!!!!!

I believe you have it there. We didn't give up in '95 when we won 2 games in San Antonio came home and blew 2 games to the Spurs and were 2-2.

We kicked them in San Antonio and finally the home team won and we went on to the title.

For all the ones that jump off now I say we don't let them back on when we win this series.

    GO ROCKETS -- I STILL BELIEVE ~~~~

don't pretend. You were, you are, and you will forever be. Just don't bother to show up when we win the series.

    I was refering to:

    1) Dampier got like 3 offensive rebounds and then made the tip in.
    2) Yao couldn't catch the damn ball and turned it over.

    That was the game changer.

We need to upgrade our PG and PF positions next year. They are getting us killed against the Mavs.

Sura and MJ are both back-ups and neither one likes to get Yao the ball on a consistent basis.

That's not how I saw it. The rebound was his and he lost it. Period. Nothing to do with luck.

This team is showing his age at the end of games and T-Mac and Yao make costly turnovers.

Man some of you guys need to stop blaming the refs for this game. This was all the ROCKETS fault. Mcgrady's careless TO, BAD SHOT SELECTION, AND NOT CONTAINING TERRY!

it's a 3 games series now with ALL the Momemtum in Mavs hand. We might be one hell of a road team but No way that Dallas would lose another at home.

I don't think I'm gonna watch the next one at all, it would just kill me. I'm so dissapoointed at the players on this team, So much bloody talk when we were up by two and absolulety died at home couldn't back up all that talk with any action on the court.

Yao is fustrating as hell, man all that b****ing by Cuban took him out of the game probably out of the series. Either Alexander or JVG needs to have some talks with the NBA or Yao will never be a factor in any Post season let alone this series. Yao Has to bloody play smart as well, Cuban Made those damnn talk with the NBA about moving Screens why the Hell was so careless at the end when setting the bloody screens for T-mac?

Chokers all of them, damm chokers I'm pissed.

Losing sucks no matter how you slice it, but it's how we lost this one. It was right there. No need to rehash it ... we all saw it.

You have to credit Dallas... they were clutch. We choked. Games 3 and 4 were the polar opposites of Games 1 and 2. Also, I don't know why, but Finley on McGrady is bothering him.

I don't think I'd even panic if we lost Game 5.... when the media starts printing the Rockets are done, who knows how they will respond. They got too much credit too fast.

Mike James has been a liability the past two games.

Oh, he can score. But the problem is, he has Jim Jackson disease - he thinks he's better than he is.

You're a decent player, Mike James. Not a great one. Not even a very good one. I'm sorry you don't recognize that - the real irony is that you'd be a better player if you did.

I don't agree with that, that more talent translates to a win in a 7 game series. If that were the case, Sacramento would have beaten the Lakers and Phoenix would have beaten Houston and Dallas would be rolling in championships right now. Talent isn't the reason the Rockets lost this game, it was execution. McGrady completely disappeared and nobody stepped up to help. If the Rockets are going to win this series, guys like Mike James, Jon Barry, Bobby Sura and David Wesley are going to have to be consistent. Together for the most part. If just ONE of them executes down the stretch the Rockets are up 3-1, or headed to the second round right now.
