OK, I had some nosebleed seats for yesterdays game, and I mean these were nosebleeds, straight in the top corner of the stadium. But, I was so happy to go to the game, and then I realized something. My seats were right next to a family of Mavs fans. Ok, well that didn't bother me too much at first until the game started. Their little boy was a Rockets fan though, but the parents were definately PWT and hard core Mavs fans. Well everytime the Rockets would score, this woman would look at me and my girlfriend, and would say something, almost in the sense of like a satanic curse. Everytime the Mavs would do something, she would hit herself on the leg as well as her face with this stupid ass "Clapper" thing that you get from AAC. Well, the little boy kept cheering for the Rockets, and the Dad would say "Shut up you little ****er!" The Dad was a freak, he had a picture of himself and Nowitzki in his wallet. Then when the Rockets went up 11, he told his son "Go to the Bathroom now, I am sick of your cheering" I almost wanted to call CPS on this fool and his ugly ass wife, but you know that wasnt my place. Then when the Mavs came back and won, the white trash father said "**** you Houston, and your stupid fans and city, Dallas will always be the greatest!" Then he told his son "How'd you like that ****er!" The little boy looked like he was going to cry, and the mom didn't say anything she just laughed. What is the deal with these Dallas Rednecks, the completely make me sick!

Are you serious? That just sounds weird. Why would they have even brought their son to the game? And furthermore, how could their son be a Rockets fan if his parents are such die-hard Mav fans. Something doesn't add up. Lastly and most importantly, how can people be that ****ed up? I don't want to believe its true.

Geez, I leave town and give up my season tickets and the whole town goes into the krapper. Too bad I can't see some if this in person. Very curious now to see a game at TC, although if I got put next to these weirdos I might have ended up in a fist fight with the dad. I don't think I could have kept my sarcastic comments to myself.

After years of inbreeding this type of outcome should be expected from the people of Dallas.

I sat by some mavericks fans, and we were talking sh*t to each othere the whole time. At the end of the game, we were cool though, and shook hands. They even told me, if dallas doesnt win, houston was their second favorite team. I cant hate on that.

However, Spurs fans are ...well...the only word that comes to my mind to describe them is ...d*ckwads.

    bah.

I feel bad for the kid you're talking about. That sucks.

I was kinda thinking about E-Mailing Audrey Trevino, the new head of marketing, this story, and see if she may be able to get this story to the players. I mean, this just takes the fun away from the game. If the Mavs never win another game in the history of their existence, I will be happy knowing that little boy got his wish. Maybe if the players read this, it may pump them up just a little bit. What do you guys think?

I know it feels weird to "tell" on someone. Nobody likes being a snitch.

However, it is important to report all forms of child abuse. Child abuse is not just physical, it is also emotional and psychological. A father cursing and yelling at his son for nothing more than having a different sporting team preference is DEFINITELY a form of child abuse.

Furthermore, their willingness to send their son to the bathroom alone is another form of neglience.

The next time you see people like this you should definitely give CPS a call.

BTW, you are a trooper for not going off on this family. I don't know if I could've held out so long... :)

I let it all out lastnight at the game. Luckily, there were no Mavs fans or children around me because I was a madman.

I was determined to start talking crap to Mavs fans as I was walking out, but I didn't really see any. The ones I did see did the smart thing and just kept on walking.

I FREAK'N HATE THE DALLAS MAVERICKS AND EVERYTHING THAT HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM.

If those parents really were acting like that, I would have said something

    Totally inappropriate

Plus my kids would have asked why they were acting like that too

The Mavs fans I was sitting behing were really cool. I was actually surprised by that.

Now, as far as the other dude goes, I see no reason to be lighting up f-bombs in the arena. To do it to your kid for no good reason is pathetic. I'm wondering who the parent is?

Did y'all read about marc cuban running on to the court to the aid of a Mavs fan, who was the subject of Clutch(the bears) prank
