I have just backed up my first DVD using DVD Shrink or any program for that matter. Question is, how do I now burned to a DVD disc what I backed up? I have the Roxio software that came with my DVD-burner but it's not very user friendly. Is there any free software to burn DVDs in conjuction with DVD Shrink?

All you need to do is

    1) install Nero 6, even if it is the free demo version from the site
    2) Open DVD shrink and instead of Open Disk, do Open Files and open the directory that you stored your shrunken files in
    3) Click Backup, and instead of the Target being the Hard Drive, make the Target your DVD burner
    4) Click Finish/Backup/Whatever it is and it will burn your DVD

I use DVD decryptor to "Backup" my DVD's. I shrink them with DVD Shrink and then burn them back with Decryptor.

    It's easy enough.

I tried to burn a DVD for the first time the other day, and it didn't work. Damn. Will try again sometime.

I use ROXIO Easy Media Creator.

If it is the version as mine, you need only start Roxio Disc Copier. On the left pane is your source (browse to the file that is the .iso, I think) and on the right is your destination (pick the DVD drive).

I installed the Nero software and burned it that way. It worked. Funny thing though, I put the DVD in my DVD player and it played just fine but now when I put it in the player my player says NO DISC. don't get it.
