    JOKING??

Ya see, people just don't understand "the V to the I" like I do...Vanilla Ice's rhymes are so clean and efficent, fueled by emotional angst that gets 50 miles per gallon...Just take a look at some of this genius...

Quick to the point, to the point no fakin'
Cooking MC's like a pound of bacon

In this line, the "MC's" represent all the haters...all the people that dissed VI his entire life and told him that he wouldnt' amount to anything...He's subjecting all the haters to the intense heat and emotion of his powerful rhymes, and they shrivel up and get brittle, just like a pound of bacon...He's saying to the world, "Listen up, beeeyotches!! I got a frying pan, and I'm not afraid to use it!!" I won't even ATTEMPT to explain the anger he expresses to the meat packing industry in that line, as it is far to complicated for someone not as familiar with the Ice-Man as me...

    Take at look at THIS...

Shay plays on the fade, slice like a ninja
Cut like a razor blade so fast
    Other DJ's say, "damn"
If my rhyme was a drug I'd sell it by the gram

    BRILLIANCE!! pure, unadulterated brilliance...

Shay, of course, is VI's DJ...Of course, Shay ALWAYS has Vanilla Ice's back, you just don't know he's there all the time...What Ice is saying is, "wherever you go, you better watch your back, cuz you NEVER know what maybe be lurking around the corner"...Take the music industry, for example...One day, you're on the top of the pop chart, king of the world...Next thing you know, you're a has been nobody working in a doughut shop...Of course, one may THINK that the line about his rhyme being a drug is something that can condones drug use, but it's just the opposite...You see, his rhymes are so intoxicating, filled with so much energy, that he must carefully measure how much he rations out, thus using "sell it by the gram" instead of "sell it by the kilo"

You just need to look more deeply into his lyrics to fully appreciate them....

Thank you, and tune in next week for more "Vanilla Ice Theater"
