I just gotta say man. That was the best recap I've ever read... period... Big brass balls... After the night I've had I'm still totally stoked. I was watching the game at the Warehouse off of Ben White here in Austin when with a couple of minutes to go this guy behind me starts calling T-Mac a punk. To make matters worse I was with this amazing girl who also happens to be a big Rockets fan. I should have taken the higher ground but with 2.2 seconds left I let out a "I got your punk hangin' b****...". The next thing I know the game is over and an entire hispanic family wants to take me out. The younger of the family comes around and slaps me in the face after shaking my hand and granddad is in the corner yelling "we'll be waiting for you in the parking lot..." and "that chick has ugly ass hair". Yeah... if you aren't into hot intelligent Rocket fan blondes that could almost pass as a bond girl. She was a bit frightened to go out to her car... I'm sure I'll never hear from her again... Rockets 2-0 BABY!! I GOT YOUR PUNK HANGIN' b****!
I agree. Clutch's recaps are good reads because he doesn't use the same quotes that everyone else does (seriously, is it really news everytime a player says, "we've got to play hard for four quarters?"). Good job, clutch.
i agree... clutch you should get a part-time job for the chronicle. its nice to read an informative article from a fan, and not a journalist thats just writing the same thing every day and just switching out the names.
IT JUST shows that some people have absolutely no class at all, this time it was an entire family of no class idiots. bet they probaly were all fat and looked like they lived in the poor section of the trailer park cause i have encounter people like that.
One of the gutsiest performances and a classic playoff game when it was only game 2 is a liiiiiitle bit overstated. But, if you guys don't know now you know. Clutch has the best fan based site on the internet. And last time I checked, the internet is pretty friggin big. When Clutch stated in the recap that he was up at 230am this morning typing it up, I just said to myself 'DEDICATION". Like I said. If you don't know now you know. Actually, you now know TWO THINGS: 1) Clutch has the best fan based site on the internet bar none. 2) JVG is the best friggin coach in the NBA!! And Clutch should at least admit that on a full front page ad!!!!
Great recap. I don't doubt Clutch was up at 2:30 writing that, because I couldn't sleep either. It took me a few hours to wind down after that finish!
The Dampier line was particularly outstanding. Dude isn't even the second-best center in this series.
