    Where's the poll??

Wrath of Khan was good. I also like the one where they go back in time to the 80's to get a whale.

Wrath of Khan is not only the best Star Trek movie but a great film by any standards.

Star Trek 4 with the whales.

"Sir, can you please tell me where they keep the Nuclear Wessels?"

    Classic.

4 is my favorite as well. I love it when Scotty tried to talk to the computer through the mouse. That is probably not going to be funny in a few years, because voice-activated computers are just around the corner. Man I feel old. I hate you. :p

6 was my favorite, where the Klingon captain decides that he doesn't want the Empire to have peace with the Federation so he takes his ship that can fire while cloaked and tries to wreck shop on the Enterprise. It also has the classic Kirk that gets busy with the alien babe, who later turns out to e a shapeshifting man-beast. After that, 2 and generations are both good. I thought Nemesis and First Contact were decent. The other Next Gen movie sucked pretty hard (with the skin stretching dudes), as did 1, 3, 4, and 5.

I think 2 is the best but 8 (First Contact) is a very close second.
Nemesis was downright dissapointing. It seemed like they could've done so much more with it.

I like the TNG group better. I enjoyed First Contact the most of the ones I've watched.

    VI is very underrated.

There is another movie in the development process, supposedly set in an Enterprise-era time or earlier. Unfortunately, it's being developed by the same hacks that made the last two messes. :( I really hate those guys.

The key is the acting.... and Ricardo Montoblan was brilliant as Khan.

I heard the next star trek takes place sometime after Enterprise and before TOS (the original series). More specifically, it might involve the Romulan Wars and the first establishment of the romulan neutral zone.

I think this star trek has a chance to be big. Unlike the other movies, this one won't be a continuation of a tv series. So, at the very least it won't have that feel of being just an extended tv show. And also they'll bring in all new actors - hopefully, some real movie actors (and hopefully some well known ones).

I really hope this movie does well. If it does, then it could launch more movie projects and possibly another tv series. It's sad to think the last star trek show (possibly forever) will be over in the next couple weeks :(

Given the dropoff in originality and quality (I mean really another Mirror Mirror episode?) that might not be a bad thing.

I just watched a rebroadcast of last Fridays "Enterprise" with the encounter with the "classic Trek" ship. Its hilarious how much more advanced Enterprise looks than the classic James T. Kirk vessel with no touch screens, plywood consoles with buttons that look like Jolly Ranchers and stick on decals for monitor screens.

Yeah I know classic Trek is supposed to be 100 years in the future but IMO they should've abandonded the idea of reusing the old Trek set because it looks like the future took a huge step backward.

II is by far the best. As was said before Ricardo Montalban was awesome in his role as Kahn. Plus Kirstie Alley was very hot.

IV was like a save the whales infomercial. Plus time travel movies are almost always bad. It is also very timed stamped. My 14 year old daughter is lost in most of the 80's jokes/references.

VI had a great concept just poorly executed.

First Contact is my favorite TNG film. But it still falls short of Kahn.
