Little pocket inside regular hip pocket?

    My mama sent me a new pair of Dockers last week. ("Forty-eight waist with the balloon seat, right?") I noticed they've got a little pocket sewed inside the right hip pocket. I guess to hold change or keys so they don't clink around when you walk.

    This is my first new pair of slacks in a long time. When the did the little pocket first come about? Has it been around forever and I just haven't bought high-end slacks? Or is it a new innovation?

    Just an idle curiosity.

    They used to have those in jeans back in the 80's. Jordache used to make them like that. Maybe even Sergio Valente. I used to have some slacks back in the 80's think had the little pocket.

    Change pocket is my guess. I've got the same pocket in some dress slacks but not in any cotton casual pants.

    Inside on the bottom of the pocket. It is a little annoying since I keep thinking I;ve lost my keys, but I now make signficantly less jingling noises when I walk.

    I really dig the little pocket above and behind the right pocket.

    Pimp - No one would bicker with my inflammatory post in the charity office? thread, so I was forced find something else to talk about. [​IMG]

    Really I just need more work to do here at work. Too much time for idle curiosities.

    (s_f_r and not chaney - as I said, I figured the pocket was a change pocket. I was wondering when it first got started)
