    Mavs are favored by 4.5 w/ an over/under of 191.

    I like it much better when the Rockets are the underdog.

    Rockets and the over.

    Rockets 107
    Mavs 92

    Rockets low post domination will be key.

    I think the game with start out with both teams missing shots due to nerves, then it will settle down a bit, and I think it will be very close, but the MAVS unfortunately will take game 1. However, I like how the Rockets play when they are coming from behind so this may not be bad a bad thing.. if the Rockets win, they'll win by +5 or more.. Let the nerves begin! I can't wait!

    Rockets will crush the Mavs only to get blown out in Game 2.

    It's going to be a tough series, but the Rockets will pull it out.

    They probably are. But anyone who watched Orlando Magic lead the Pistons 3-1 (2?) years ago with a crap team will tell you this series is wide open :cool:

    For the last 10 Rox games, my predictions were all wrong. Seriously. I do not know what's going on with my nerve cells but I sure hope they will work hard this time too.

    Game 1: Experienced superstar Dirk will come out cool and collected, and Dallas will be loose and comfortable in front of the home crowd, Houston will play a bit timid with Yao trying too hard.

    this could be gundy just being gundy but during one of the local sports segments when asked if they had a good practice today, he replied "No"

    also Mutumbo mentioned something JVG was telling the guys today at practice which was the first 8 minutes of tomorrows game will be very very crucial, and those 8 minutes will tell which team will dictate tempo throughout the series.

    So... here's to to hoping the Rockets come out strong right off the tip. Rockets 112 Mavs 105
