good picks. glad to see you liked The House of Yes. Excellent performances by the whole cast. ------------------
Hey no argument from me! Homeward Bound II was definitely a much better movie than English Patient. I can't believe it was snubbed by the Oscars. ------------------ "Thirty-seven?" -Randall, Clerks www.clutchtown.com
97 was a sorry year for movies, wasn't it? I might have thrown Men In Black in there somewhere - I remember enjoying that movie at the time. ------------------ "Thirty-seven?" -Randall, Clerks www.clutchtown.com
Gonna have to put L.A.Confidential in second place and Grosse Point Blank as el numero uno. ------------------ stop posting my damn signature
The House of Yes did have some great performances, but that didn't make it a good movie. The whole idea was a waste of their talent. The Cable Guy was crappola. Mars Attacks was crappola plus some The game was mildy amusing, but everything was predictable in that movie. ------------------ humble, but hungry.
I HATED Fargo, but unfortunately, I seem to be in the minority. It was just so annoying. ------------------ My dream job is to be a Houston Rockets towel boy.

where the hell is The Rock?!? ------------------ Is it any coincidence that the Cato is the only Rocket with a temperature scale named after him? I didnt think so!!!!
Man, I just watched two movies from 1996 last night. The first one was Hard Eight, the debut of director P. Thomas Anderson (Boogie Nights and Magnolia). It would've definitely made the top 5 had I seen it before making the list. The second one was The Rock. Of course, I'd seen this one. Still think I made the right decision leaving it off the list, even though it is entertaining as hell ("Actually, I'm a chemical superfreak"). ------------------ "Knickerbocker Please!" visit www.swirve.com, coming January 20th, the top 10 films of 2000! http://www.geocities.com/clutch34_2000 for great Rocket insight by some of your fellow BBS posters!
