Yes, it is fairly reliable for me. You need to have a decent upload for it to work well, it's BT technology, hence higher upload rate = higher download rate. You have to wait about 5 minutes for the speed to stablize.

BTW, since it is boardcasting from China, the commentary are in chinese only....no FSNH here, unless someone from this board in houston has a TV card and is willing to be a host the games...

Thanks for the advice, everybody. I'm already following up on the leads, and something tells me I'll be able to see the games -- this is the 21st century, for crying out loud! Anything is possible!

Now if I can just figure out how to get chips and salsa, I'm all set.

I'm going to be studying abroad this upcoming fall semester in Italy (Milan). Does anyone know if it's any easier to catch NBA games in Milan than it is in Venice?

I live in Alabama and I can watch it without any problem.

you can download coolstream and click the cool.exe in the download folder, then select the channel that has Rocket game. Tonight, it is "Guangdong Sports" channel.

You double click this channel, after 15 seconds, it starts medis palyer and you can watch the game.

Back to the question of where to watch the games:

Just contact the American Embassy - they'll know where to hook you up! I was in Indonesia a few years ago and managed to watch plenty of playoff action at the American Club.

In Venice there should be plenty of Sports Bars - and I think there might even be an "American Bar" there somewhere! I seem to recall seeing that on a holiday show a little while ago.

    Good luck!
