It will be interesting to see how this turns out. I can't believe there are that many people willing to this kind of stuff though.

I havent messed with any PvP yet, but it was very laggy last night I just enjoy doing the quests and grouping with friends, I don't take it too seriously
Couple of years back, ebay banned all Eveerquest auctions. As soon as you posted something everquest related, it would be removed the very same night along with a warning. 3 warnings and your account got suspended. WHAT!!! I've heard of this before, but $800 million a year? Is it all the money they save on not taking girls out on dates that allow them to spend that much on this stuff?
Why date when you can virtual date and virtual marry your blood shaman with someone else's moongoddess? The difference isn't that great ain't it?
LOL. I remember selling stuff from Diablo 2 that totaled almost $300. That was the easiest/funnest money I ever made. Hell one item alone sold for $50.
i have a friend who is apparently a very high level EQ player (says out of a group of 150,000 that he's basically the top person) and he apparently makes quite a bit of money on this stuff. we couldn't believe it back in the day when he told us he sold this stuff and that people actually bought it and paid real money for it. apparently he would set up things where it would play and rack up the EQ money while he was away and he even had something like 3 computers for it. amazingly he was a fairly normal person outside of that and it sucked we couldn't make more fun of him for playing EQ since he was banking off of it. we keep wondering why he's trying to get a real job when he can make so much money off this stuff.
