Just under Houston, on Prince or Spring I think. But the first place I'm going is Kate's Joint for a righteous vegan club, so anywhere around the East Village is ideal. I'll be offline til it's time to meet, so go ahead and set it up. I'll check the board when I get to town and meet you guys wherever you decide. Patio required, please.

I would like to make a Saturday meeting. I work in LI, so meetings in the city during the week are difficult for me.

the problem with the patio situation is that nobody has a really big one and they fill up fast. Sweet and Vicious on 5 Spring Street (btwn. Elizabeth & Bowery) is real close to where batman is staying and has a back patio that doesn't get too crowded. Zum Schneider on Ave. C at 7th street has tables out front and good german beers. Sidewalk Cafe on Avenue A & 6th Street has outdoor tables and gets packed.

across110thstreet, mcmark (are you still in?) and any other new yorkers:
what time can you guys meet and do you have a preference about any of the places i mentioned? chime in and let's get this done.

Yeah, I'm still in if it's early. I can do 6:00pm, but I have a manager's meeting at 8 in the morning so it can't be a late night.

Sweet and Vicious would be my choice as basso might be able to get there. Too far east and, you know, he gets a nose bleed. :)

But I do like Sidewalk. Never been to Zum.

fanelli's is unbearably crowded, claustrophobic and, well, indoors. basso, sweet will be the easiest for space, but i reckon you might like zum better. your choice @ 6pm.

We can start at S&V and wait for basso and Batman (and anyone else). If they want to switch after that is fine by me.

    I'll be there btwn 5:30 and 6.

Meet at the bar or patio?

Yeah the F will get you to Broadway/Lafayette and then it's a couple blocks south. N/R will put you on Prince which is close.

Give me a shout at giff@corp.swirve.com or 832-689-0799. We'll be hitting somewhere near Times Square (or wherever the draft is) for the game.
