I just couldn't stop laughing when I read the bold-faced part of this piece.

Someone better tell this dude how it works in the NBA.

Yeah, I tell ya. Phil Jackson is just begging for a chance to coach that stellar tandem of Steve Francis and Dwight Howard...

I don't think Jackson will be coaching next year unless it's the Lakers. Flip could easily get a job with a crap team like the Hawks or Blazers, but I think he'll wait and see if anything better opens up.

There will be a lot of interest in Flip this summer.

    Cleveland- He is from Cleveland.
Portland- They have already said they are interested.
NYK- Unlikely, but they need a coach.
Lakers- IF PJ doesn't go, Flip would be a nice.

Personally, I don't see Phil going anywhere this season. There's not a single place that looks like his kind of a team. The Knicks and Lakers are running in mud, the Blazers have a roster full of rotten personalities, the Wolves are on their way to rebuilding, and the Cavs are missing a slew of pieces (especially if Z walks).

Isn't Flip in the Rudy T mold? I don't think he can control Kobe... not when it was KG's team in Minny.

I don't think anyone can control Kobe. He's in his own world.

The funny thing here is that this silly GM thinks great coaches like Phil Jackson and Saunders go job hunting. The job offers come to them not the other way round. It is not like Orlando is even a highly coveted franchise.

This GM is suffering from delusion of grandeur and he has truly lost touch with reality.

I'd say so, he looks like a 40 year old Rudy T.
