I am a Rocket fan dating back to the 70s when I was a little kid. I now live in Washington state and have the league pass/Tivo, so I don't miss a game. I have gone as far as Portland to see the Rockets play. What is the deal with our fans? This team is fun to watch and is a playoff team, and we have no home court advantage. It is embarrassing watching important games like the Denver game and seeing countless empty seats in the lower sections. Furthermore, it takes that stupid PA anouncer to rouse any cheers. Is anyone else appauled? I guess we won't see all the bandwagon jumpers until the playoffs? Just look at any other NBA city that has a decent team, and you would never see such a poor turnout, especially so late in the year.

The lower level seats were sold out before the season even started, and most of them were bought by corporations, you can't blame us on this one.

I have mentioned that before here, MBardwil, but we live in a corporate world. Those seats are occupied by companies who just take up the lower bowl and never show up to the games. The true fans are in the upper bowl and in the nosebleed sections. Plus, we haven't had a really good team like this in a while.

It doesn' matter where you sit. You'll have a blast. Just being in that arena, there is nothing like it. Nothing compares to playoff basketball, the energy in the crowd is just amazing. I have attended three NBA playoff games and it's just one of the most entertaining things you'll ever experience

stupid? Tgray? you gotta give him his props for getting everyone to follow along with the "WHO'S BALL IS IT?" i do it when i watch the games at home. can't blame the guy for trying to get the "6th man" into the cheers. i find it kind of funny.. "C'MON 6th MAN! DEEE-FENSE, DEEE-FENSE"

Fans chant defense when theres a reason to like in the fourth quarter of a tight game.

Rockets are up by 15 in the first quarter - "C'mon.. DE-FENSE. DE-FENSE!" it's pathetic. then when the time comes to chant defense they don't feel like it anymore after being forced to do it from the first quarter on by some damn announcer and his machine chant rammed through their ears every other possession.
