I didn't watch the game, but damn....if Padgett continues to shoot/rebound like he did tonight, we'll have a good chance of beating Dallas.

i was at the astros game and it was interesting to note how many of the fans during the game were loudly discussing the rockets playoff hopes...this must be the lowest number of posts ever recorded in a game thread.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned this yet...

Did you see Tmac telling JVG he didn't want to go back in the game midway through the 4th? I would have loved to hear what JVG had to say about that. It happened just as soon as Bill Worrell said it looked like Tmac was done for the night.

Needless to say, Tmac ended up back on the floor, but only for a few minutes.

I didn't see the game but it seems that T-Mac played as a PG because his shot was off. Why wasn't he able to score more tonight?

The Mavs and Rockets are both really good teams? Can you believe ESPN let that guy go?

i was watching them talk and mcgrady was smiling and i'm pretty sure saying he didn't care. i definitely don't think he specifically requested not to go back in.

Who cares? The game was a laugher from the first quarter. His shot seemed fine when the game was somewhat close.

    Thanks R2K.

Wow, that little massage Tmac gave Yao is definitely the highlight of the game. Guys, be close, but don't get too close. :D :D :D

The local clippers commentators were giving JVG praise on knowing his stuff. They told how Eric Piantowski used to ask JVG questions and all of Jeff's answers were backed up with statistical facts with percentages and whatnot. Pike felt like they were the best answer given and totally detailed.

They gave due props to the Rockets in general .

i've always felt the clipper commentators on tv always do a good job of supporting the clippers but also giving credit where credit is due when it comes to the opposition. they were pretty fair last night in their assesment of the rockets and their play. but i do find mike smith, the color guy to be a bit annoying at times, but lawler is a good pbp guy he should be doing games on national tv not just stuck with the clippers
