Do you think it is more important for Yao to average 20ppg or 10rpg.

If you knew he would only pass one of those plateaus which would it be?

On this team I think the RPG would be more important.

If Yao can avg 35+ mins, he can pass 20/10 easy.

For me, it'd depend on what kind of moves we make in the offseason. If we re-sign Mutombo and get a strong rebounder at the PF spot, then I'd rather see Yao to increase his scoring.

Otherwise, yes...our team would need some quality rebounding from Yao.

I was going to add 30 mpg but that would have been a run away

How about blocks? Averaging 3 blocks a game as he has done the past month helps Yao to elevate other parts of his games as well. I don't expect him to average that an entire season, but let's say, getting to 2.5 BPG will be great.

Also getting fouls down below 3.5 per game would be nice too.

If Yao starts averaging over 10 boards a game, I think his scoring will naturally go up a couple of points too just by virtue of putbacks.

If Yao stays out of foul trouble then he'll easily surpass both.
