I don't think he is, but the one thing they miss is his shot blocking. I didn't know but Camby has the most block shots in the league this year.

But they can blame it on Camby not being there all they want. We just handed them their biggest loss of the season and there is no way Camby would have turned the whole game around.

I dont think they can blame Camby. Missing games due to injuries is part of Camby package. You cannot have a healthy Camby for an entire season. Oxymoron.

Let's say that Camby did play, can he realistically make up for a 28 point difference? If he could, he's got an MVP vote from me. The thing is people keep whining and b****ing how other team has injured players, well what about us? I noted the following in another thread:

    1. JHoward is out for the season (obviously)
    2. Yao missed the first games of his career this season; played with a 5lb cast on his elbow for 15 games, which was responsible for his FG% being 45% instead of the 56% it is now; and god knows how many other little nagging injuries he has.
    3. TMac lost another family member/friend, bringing the total up to 9 and played with back problems and double knee injuries.
    4. Sura missed the first month and half of the season; and when he finally came back and was playing the best ball of his career, he busted his knee again and hasn't been the same ever since.
    5. Charlie Ward was actually playing great in the first couple of games. Then he slowed down and started sucking due to injury and blood clot in his knee. We are not expecting him back this season. This meant at one point Rod freakin' Strickland was our starting 1.

Those are just the main ones. I'm not even counting JB's back spasms, Spoon's weight and Vin Bakers clug clug clug (oh wait).

And yet the media is making excuses for the Nuggets for Marcus freakin' Camby? Losers make excuses, hence, Denver = losers. If the Chron is blaming Houston's past or future performance on any injury other than TMac or Yao, I'd call them losers too.
