The whole "The Game" album by Queen has been in my head all day, especially "Don't Try Suicide" and "Sail Away Sweet Sister".
Gott, deine Gute reicht so weit So weit die Wolken gehen Du kronst uns mit Barmherzigkeit Und eilst, uns beizustehen. Herr! meine Burg, mein Fels, mein Hort, Vernimm mein Fleh'n, merk' auf mein Wort, Denn ich will vor dir beten Denn ich will vor dir beten Bet you guys don't know that one. (no, I don't speak German, and I barely know what it means myself, but it's something we're working on in the music department. Strangely enough, it has kind of stuck with me and it's the song I sing to myself to help keep things stable lately.)
some of the lines from nine inch nails without you... without you, everything falls apart without you... It's not as much fun to pick up the pieces... - - - - you didn't hurt me nothing can hurt me you didn't hurt me nothing can stop me now - - - - a thousand lips a thousand tongues a thousand throats a thousand lungs a thousand ways to make it true I want to do terrible things to you - - - - but I want to... but i can't turn back .... but I want to... but i can't turn back .... but I want to... but i can't turn back .... - - - - Why's it come as a surprise to think that I was so naive? Maybe didn't mean that much but it meant everything to me there's more. Lots more. -- droxford
the theme song from "The Greatest American Hero" the stupid commercial "yoohoo, yoohoo , yoohoohoo yoohoohoo" Oran-Juice-Jones "I saw you ........ and him"
I believe it is...but for the new Coke w/ lime they changed it to "you put the lime in the Coke you nut." Those zany, clever marketers!
I love that song! I saw her perform that song on Letterman, and the way she moved just stuck in my head, and I had to have that song. That song is my #7 most played song on iTunes and I've only had it for a few weeks, so that says a lot. Anyways, songs stuck in my head... Gwen Stefani - Hollaback Girl (I had that in my head before seeing this thread) Lloyd Banks - Ain't No Click Ft. Tony Yayo Led Zeppelin - Out On The Tiles (this song is in my head everyday of the year) Right now, I'm listening to the Foundation CD by Houston's own Geto Boys. If there's any rap fans out there, it's a good CD, but my favorite CD right now is Lloyd Banks - The Hunger For More (GREAT CD).
They are one of the few bands, that I know of, that are somewhat popular in the US but yet all their lyrics are in German.
