I'm at a kickass coffee shop with wireless internet, but they don't know what their SMTP address is so I can't currently send e-mails. Anyone have any idea what it is?

BTW, Little Italy, owned by the same guys who own Nick's Place, is a great coffeeshop.

EDIT: Wrong Forum...sorry guys. Please move to the Hangout.

It gives me an error that authentication is required.

    Any ideas?

Yes, Denver is doing really good, but I don't think they are going to get pass Seattle for that 3rd seed.

Try checking your email before sending. Since you authenticate when checking your account some mail servers make you do that before you can send so they know you are a valid user.

Is the coffeeshop using SBC too? If the shop is using some other ISP, then SBC might be blocking you from access to their smtp server cos your IP address does not belong to SBC. Some ISPs do this, not sure if SBC does.

If your username is something like

    Dude@sbc....

Don't just enter in Dude in the username..use the whole email addy.

You can use the SBC SMTP servers even when not on your DSL line. Just need to make sure you check the "Authenticate with SMTP server" and enter your username@sbcglobal.net name and password.

That's the thing, I personally don't use SBC Yahoo, but this coffeeshop does. The time I asked the manager guy who worked there, he didn't seem to know what the address was.

Oh well, I'll just go there for work-related stuff I don't have to use the e-mail for. It really is a cool place. The breakfast sandwich is highly recommended.
