This was an excellent freakin' movie. Kind of a Pulp Fiction in Britain. Easily the best movie of the year.

Wait a minute. Are you saying it's like pulp fiction, or that it's good? [IMG]
I wasn't a fan of pulp fiction so thanks for the warning.

excellent movie. One of the few worthy of the price of admission.

More like Lock, stock, and 2 smoking barrels, from the same director(I think).

    Also an excellent movie.

The next time I have meat and mashed potatoes, I think I'll put a very large blob of potatoes on my plate with just a little piece of meat. And if someone asks me why i didn't get more meat, ill just say, "Oh, you mean this?" and pull out a big piece of meat from inside the blob of potatoes, where ive hidden it. Good magic trick, huh?

Snatch is a great movie...lock stock was really cool, maybe a bit better...that line in Lock Stock where the guy comes back with a bag of fertiliser and a doped girl still cracks me up every time...

How do these movies get recieved in the USA? The humour is British, and it's an entirely different sort of humour.

Yes, it's a good movie with some hilarious scenes, but I'd never make such a claim.

Yes. It was pretty good. I still liked Almost Famous much better... And Shanghai Noon for that matter, but the movie is good and I would rank it ahead of most this year. It's got some very funny material in it, but sometimes I was ashamed to be laughing. Much like Pulp Fiction.

I rented cHicken Run this weekend. It's a nice little flic as well.

I saw it yesterday and I gotta say that I can appreciate Snatch. Although, the movie title is very deceptive.

Chicken Run. Yes that was surprisingly...good. There's just something about clay-animated English chickens. I watched it twice.
